Welcome! I think it's a very good idea to paint the last f1 cars of the hybrid era. I look forward to it.

Modelling is all finished on the village, now, with just a bit of texture work to do (adding a bit of age, and some normal maps). The basic vegetation is done throughout the entire 12.6km length, so now I just need to add the plants like ferns, foxgloves, daisies, etc to the grass verges.

Well I'm here for the oldies and that looks absolutely stunning! I hadn't realised how much 'depth' things like the weathered effect have on making it blend in seamlessly. Thanks again, really appreciate the WIP pics.

That would be my guess too. Looks like 2nd gen. with the fully independent rear suspension,
instead of the swing axle of the first gen. Now that would have put ACs physics to the test

Yep, 2nd gen Corvair, with the Yenko homologation. May as well have decent power in the 2500lb car.
