The "What Are You Working On?" Thread

And of course, I should show what I've been working on:

Not really sure where I'm going with this, but I really wanted to make a quick model with the new 'Halo' Head protection thing that is likely to be introduced (see here), and see what its like to drive with this (wish I had VR.. if anyone does and wants a go, let me know :)).

Anyway, got a bit carried away and began just modelling blindly with no real vision of what I wanted to do. If anyone wants to give any input on where this could go, give me a shout!
It’d be awesome if you made it a “de-regulated” formula prototype car.

Work's gone a bit quieter so I thought I'd get back onto Battenbergring, finishing off the village of Holzhausen with revised half-timbered houses and real-life church.

As ever, that looks absolutely stunning and really looking forward to it thank you. I love the church at Fonteny - it's an excellent landmark - and this one looks even more detailed.

I was so excited to be working on AC stuff again that I couldn't wait to post

Please don't wait! It's the WIP thread, the more pics you put of the journey, the more obvious it is the sheer amount of 'W' you put into it!

... exactly what this thread is for :)

sure created something over the last year... looks almost ready if you squint. Made a huge step and actually "snapped" the satellite terrain to the grass areas. Before there was a ~20cm gap everywhere
Looks really good Matthias, can't wait for the final result! It looks like it has a GoKart track; I'll have to add it to my ever growing list to model....

I'm not ruling out modelling that kart track myself, but it's way down the list. I want to first make the GP track in "track test day" mode, as that is how I experienced it myself when I went their with a friend who has a track car. Next step would be "DTM mode" with extra grand stands and stuff.

I've always dreams about beautiful 1967 Ferrari 312/67 with modern V12 engine and etc. So, I watched some tutoriasl ( ;) ) on YT about modeling in AC and decided to make my drem come true. So ggere it is, Frankenstein himself :D
Ferrari 044/1 3.0 V12 engine, which makes 700 HP :sneaky:
Ferrari 312 T aero mixed with Ferrari 412 T2 aero
Pirelli tyres are just texture, likes Mr Villeneuve said, those beasts need to slide in the corners. But it's more like slidening in the 70s car
Oh and something which is important just like the engine, 6 geras gearbox from Ferrari 412 t2 ;)

If anyone is interested I can record some laps with this beast. I was expecting this to be crap, Yknow, 60s tyres, no areo, huge engine and etc. But it really fun to drive :)

Some on the track photos :)
Do You there should be sponsor logo on the rear wing? Like Ferrari logo in the 90s?
