spend some time on fiddling with textures and shaders, trying to give the grass a more coherent appearance (not the bushes around the ponds, those are still messed up somehow)

If you want it you're welcome to it, it's sorta just minimally functional to match the exterior (car is at 55k, 15k is interior)
Just kidding, having your Corvair in game is just enough, it's the second time I ever see this car in any game apart from my Carmageddon 2 and Crashday mods.
Brings back memories from the good old NFS4 times! 9k was considered around the upper limit. I did one car with 12k and it was reaaaaallly stretching performance on most machines :laugh:
Yeah 9k was a killer back then on most engines, best it worked with was Crashday back in the day.

My first baby steps into 3D were with the original ZModeler back in the SCGT days; where 1k tris was considered high poly.

Then in the mid 2000s I started my career and began working in parametric CAD software, didn't really return to poly modeling until maybe 2018ish? By that point everything had changed and I still feel like I have no idea what I'm doing lol
