Dino, try reducing the detail of replay recording, or disabling it completely. I imagine that gets progressively more and more demanding as time goes on. Especially if at a point later on, it exceeds the memory allocated for it and has to allocate new memory to record the rest.

@Frederic Schornstein I run Afterburner anyway; my card never goes beyond 60deg, I have a very good cooler on it, that's not an issue. Also I always monitor cpu-temps too, nevere goes beyond 55deg (again, good cooler :D )

Because of the Afterburner monitor I know that my gpu locks up for a split-second when this happens for no logical reason, and still only on this one track in this one game.

@April Dillon thanks, but i already disabled replay recording

I will just drive and see how it goes ;)

Really bad, I guess a hard drive issue would occure more randomly, so let's hope the best :)

Has anyone got the same problem then me on Portugal that the screen freezes for about 3-5 seconds at some point?
I had this a couple of times in he past and always on this track and never somewhere else.

Tried two stints and it happened always at the same lap in a race. It is an almost guaranteed dnf ;(

Tried everything including reinstalling, even redownloading the track and changing some gfx settings but it keeps happening (only on this track).
Yes I did experience this phenomena. I think it was the first couple of times I loaded the track but it seems to have stopped happening.

Please replace the RealRoad file that's on the server with the one linked below if possible. The one on the server will make for a very frustrating event since it was generated with AI that ran so long they generated marbles. This is terrible to drive on because the line is super narrow and there are marbles just at the edge of it, so the grip level is really inconsistent across a very narrow track width. I honestly found it easier to drive on a green track than on the server's line.

This is a player-generated RealRoad file like we've used in the previous events:

Thanks!

I agree if finally the .rrbin is changed.
also I agree if not.
But I think we must run with Real Road. This is rfactor2!

See you tonight... I will be at the end of the grid ;-)

There's no way to run without RealRoad unless the track just doesn't support it. But it's better to just start with a green track and let us rubber it in ourselves than to use AI-generated lines.

Done that. New one is in place, and selected. Please confirm if this is the way you like it ;)

strange things hjappening to me on server, I get in but everything is frozen in pit menu. Cant select anything and time jumps forward every 20 sec or so.

Were looking into it now :)

here are your laps
31 laps (45 min max) for round 1
28 laps (40 min max) for round 2.

we are still looking into the freezing issue, might have something to do with the skins...
after the update them seem to be not working correctly.. will get back ASAP

Marco is going to look after the race for you guys..

Hereby confirmed.
I am not sure why, but when you tick the box; DOWNLOAD CUSTOM SKINS in your settings screen before entering the server, it simply freezes out. It takes a long while until it continues.

I just tested it with a skin, but somehow, when the game starts working again, the skin is not transfered.

So, I think we should run with skins ticked of.

I am not sure if this is something new that came with the latest build. Have not seen this before, while I do use custom skins from time to time.
