David... I need some of your new medicine!! ;)
I still drive very slow. Has try to change my setups a lot because at Mills my laps-time was really bads, and has win a bit buy not 3 seconds!!

It will be finne if someone at staff, please, says the correct layout of Portugal!!
Borja,
I will help if there is any way I can. At Mills we were at similar pace and both of us pushing our cars as hard as poss I'm sure, in fact I spun trying to set up a pass on you but it was at 1:36. I got high 1:32 now and no harder to do.
I'm happy to send you a setup but actually a setup from a back marker is no real gift.

Anyway driving the FR 3.5 has gone from being a committment to real fun.

Thanks David!!

I´m really happy with your progress... maybe at Portugal I´ll be alone at the end of the grid... :notworthy: ;). I know that the set of the rfactor is not a car-setup, so me has donde the same, more or lees inspirated in change the set of the rfactor. For example: I have been reading about the set of my Thrumaster and change it; now I have much more feeling with it, so I hope I will also go better next race but I still have to work and practice a lot becouse I-m not fast enought to let the last position of the grid to another mate. ;)

Thanks for your words.!!

In summertime the starting times will be set an hour earlier.

Before the race, there will be a MANDATORY briefing on Teamspeak. Each driver is obligated to be present there. Not being present during the briefing is reason for removal from the league.

It's also MANDATORY, when the briefing starts on teamspeak, that you have entered the server with the skin you are using for the race, and that you are in the garage and stay there.

This is to ensure that everyone his skin is uploaded and shared among each other. If someone leaves the garage, his skin doesn't get uploaded and shared with others, this only happends if people are in their garage.
Teamspeak agenda:

- You have read the league rules on RD.

- Qualy:
When you are on your outlap, or you have gone off track, you don’t hold up a guy who is on a fast lap. If this does happend please send in a rapport, and the guy holding up will get a penalty for the next race.

- Start of the race:
Im taking extra notice of people making unnescesarry risk at the start. Make sure not to hit eachother, the race is long.

- Blue Flags:
Guy overtaking takes initiative, guy getting blue flag needs to get out of the way as soon as reasonably possible. Guy overtaking also need to have respect for the guy getting blue flag. Take extra room to overtake.

- Overtaking in general:
want to see respect.

- Stay on the server after race 1, for reversed grid
Please check if new position is right in warm-up, changes are in chatbox.

Round 3 portugal absence thread

If your application to drive the in league is accepted, we expect you to be present during all races of the season unless you provide an absence report with a valid excuse to the staff. If you happen to miss out on an event and go missing in action afterwards without giving any notice the race staff reserve the rights to terminate your licensed member status on RaceDeparment.

Use the following template to fill out an absence report:
  • Name & Surname:
  • Round number:
  • Reason:
Absence reports need to be completed and sent at least 24 hours before the start of the event! Failure to meet the deadline is reason for the league admins to revoke your licensed membership and expel you from the league!

can't wait for this round, i'm already getting ready to spend the next weekend in Estoril seating in the stands, whatching you guys going around the track

the weather here has been a bit rainy on the last days,. lets see if oyu guys make it in a day with no rain

if someone gets me a paddock pass i would give him a good use ;)

Has anyone got the same problem then me on Portugal that the screen freezes for about 3-5 seconds at some point?
I had this a couple of times in he past and always on this track and never somewhere else.

Tried two stints and it happened always at the same lap in a race. It is an almost guaranteed dnf ;(

Tried everything including reinstalling, even redownloading the track and changing some gfx settings but it keeps happening (only on this track).

Have you tried different sync settings in rF2? (Though I assume 'none' would be the least likely to have that issue)

Alternatively, you could try old or beta graphics drivers, as problems come and go randomly with driver and software versions. (Hell, the problem may be fixed by an older rF2 build, but I don't think that's an option :p)

Best of luck Dino, really hope you can get this sorted :(

I use framecaps instead of sync.
I had this prob at Estoril a couple of months ago also and that was already with older drivers than I have now. I can't really test this problem good, since it happens pretty much exclusively deep into a session/race, after 30 or more minutes and not every time too, so quite random.

neither cpu or gpu is beeing stressed too much, I have 120 fps on every moment of the lap.

I will just try it and see if I have some luck with this...

Maybe try to install MSI Afterburner. It has an onscreen display, which shows you your gpu temperature. Even if the gpu can make 120fps easily it can get very hot.
It is more a shot into the blue, but can't think of many other things. Maybe you should monitor cpu temp as well.

The only freezes I get is when my system backup starts, but that is only once for 5 seconds and I deactivate it before leauge races.
