If you mean the rev goes up (not the green bar of throttle) with little pedal movment, then its the same for all of us i think. The weird thing is that it looks right into the controller settings screen with the pedal travel being as "long" as I press the pedal. When click race and rev in neutral, the car doesn't even need 50% of my pedal travel(when I press the pedal down) to go 100%.
The car idles at... 2'000 rpm and the peak is... 8'000?
I used Martin's setup and I don't think I lose 3s because of it. Maybe when there's difference of rubber on the track, but not in the same conditions.
We are using Build 382, right?
I will later have a look at the replay. This will show, if it is really a game problem. The weird thing is that it looks right into the controller settings screen with the pedal travel being as "long" as I press the pedal. I have checked the replay and the throttle application on the formation lap covers 0-100% without any jumps, so there is definetly no controller issue in rF2 or with your wheel. The weird thing is that it looks right into the controller settings screen with the pedal travel being as "long" as I press the pedal. I noticed that there was no player directory in my game and the settings folder was just lurking around in the UserData folder.
I re-grouped it, created a \player directoy and put the settings folder into it.
But even after creating a path and putting in my skin, it still doesn't show up. I went into single player, went to tuning and pressed the reload button for the skin, but didn't appear.
Should it appear there? Or do I need to go to the server first?
...If there are highlights, I'd rather want to look good when I look bad. / ha ha joke
Maybe somebody wants to check if the skin is okay: http://www.speedyshare.com/X4mFT/Scuderia-Basilea.rar
Ian will you be putting Mills on the server ? I'm using the same skin as David although there are differences such as our names and numbers on the car so I suppose something could be different, I could see his skin ok in game could everyone else ?
I changed it to MALTBULGIN and just loaded it in again ingame, is that ok ? or do i need underscores before and after ALT ?
Car 31
no underscores are needed, just "ALT" somewhere in the name, and if you keep the amount of characters somewhere around the 8-10 (that is including the ALT), than it should work. If not try a character more or less.
