The weird thing is that it looks right into the controller settings screen with the pedal travel being as "long" as I press the pedal. When click race and rev in neutral, the car doesn't even need 50% of my pedal travel(when I press the pedal down) to go 100%.

The car idles at... 2'000 rpm and the peak is... 8'000?

I used Martin's setup and I don't think I lose 3s because of it. Maybe when there's difference of rubber on the track, but not in the same conditions.

We are using Build 382, right?

I don't think that's odd behavior for the engine-- My pedals are fine, and I get that behavior. At the start of R2 while waiting for the green light, I was holding the engine on 27.26% throttle and bouncing on the 8,000 limiter.

If you mean the rev goes up (not the green bar of throttle) with little pedal movment, then its the same for all of us i think.

I will later have a look at the replay. This will show, if it is really a game problem.
In the replay rF2 does not show up your throttle position of your pedals, it shows the throttle position, which is send to the engine. For example if you are on full throttle and you have traction control activated it shows the TC regulated throttle positions, so you may press full throttle, but it only shows 50%, that should help us to find your issue.
So we should see a big jump according to your explanations somewhere between 30 and 100%.
I will have a look at the replay this evening and might upload it, if I find something useful.

I have checked the replay and the throttle application on the formation lap covers 0-100% without any jumps, so there is definetly no controller issue in rF2 or with your wheel.

I noticed that there was no player directory in my game and the settings folder was just lurking around in the UserData folder.

I re-grouped it, created a \player directoy and put the settings folder into it.

But even after creating a path and putting in my skin, it still doesn't show up. I went into single player, went to tuning and pressed the reload button for the skin, but didn't appear.

Should it appear there? Or do I need to go to the server first?

...If there are highlights, I'd rather want to look good when I look bad. / ha ha joke

Maybe somebody wants to check if the skin is okay: http://www.speedyshare.com/X4mFT/Scuderia-Basilea.rar

didn't check your file, but if the skin is linger than 12 characters it doesn't show up ingame, same with too little. I believe six to 12 characters, with alt somewhere in it. Did you already got that advice?

Don't want to download from that link, as I need to use their third party download software, and my virusscanner sees it as a thread.
Can you give me another link?

And did you save the file like they say in here?

Ian will you be putting Mills on the server ? I'm using the same skin as David although there are differences such as our names and numbers on the car so I suppose something could be different, I could see his skin ok in game could everyone else ?

I have the mod ready, once the server is free (other staff are on it) I set a server up for Mills.
I could see your skin just fine ingame Martin. Besides the amount of characters, or the way it got saved, my only other thought could be that skinsharing isn't enabled in his game settings.
But if David can give me another link I'm more than happy to test if it works on my pc and try to figure out what went wrong

I unpacked them and could see right away that there is no ALT in the skinname, and probably too much characters.

Than your skin should also not have been visible on the server, than I probably have mistaken your name for someones else car who I was asked to check. Will check my folder if I can see your skin now

Edit, no both skins are not in my folder with that name.

Change the amount of characters between 8-10 characters, and use ALT somewhere in that name. You can just edit the name of the file, I believe you don't need to do that again through Photoshop.

@David Jundt @Martin Bulgin

In which car number # folder did you place your skin? Than I can check if I can find it in my folders, if it's there you can keep that name, but not sure what happends if someone else uses alt.dds, better to have a unique name.

I changed it to MALTBULGIN and just loaded it in again ingame, is that ok ? or do i need underscores before and after ALT ?

Car 31

no underscores are needed, just "ALT" somewhere in the name, and if you keep the amount of characters somewhere around the 8-10 (that is including the ALT), than it should work. If not try a character more or less.
