I cut the track in R2 to let everyone pass me. Then got a DT(which I shouldn't have received as I was basically standing still). Then got another 2(!) DTs for nothing.

I don't have to mention I had an eventful day.

Hello please send me a video when you got the penalties, than I can investigate, that is not cool to get. If nescesarry after research I can set all rules of.

Despite driving with a stiff neck I woke up with today I really enjoyed tonight. My engine blew up on the penultimate or last lap of race 2 and I think I was 8th or 9th at the time, I'm annoyed at myself but I love the realism of it, I wondered what was happening at the time because it started behaving funny a corner or 2 before it let go, that will teach me :) great fun and good racing and thanks Ian for setting it all up.

I have my pedals on a seperate controller to my wheel so it might be a bit different on yours but right click on the g27 icon and click on controller settings and properties and you should be able to calibrate pedals

I don't see an option to "recelibrate". Systemcontrol -> Devices and Printer -> G27

Under properties, I can select hardware, then I get driver options for example, where you can de-activate it or remove...

@Ian Franssen Sorry, but I don't have a video programme.

No problem, I have a replay of the race, please send me info on lap, time and position on track, than I will look it up in my replay:)

I cant plug my pedals into my wheel to find exactly where it is because I'm using a momo wheel and G25 pedals that plug into a Leo Bodnar usb2 adaptor, keep looking its in there somewhere, failing that download DX Tweak and adjust them using that.

I won't be able to check until tomorrow afternoon, but I was right behind you at the time, it looked as if you had made a mistake a few laps into race 2 and you had me right behind you. That's as informative as I can be lol

I'm off to bed, had great fun and there was a lot of great driving and am pleased with how it went:),
unfortunatly I wasn't driving to well and want to apologies to the guys in the first race, I will be investigated and will get a penalty.
Tomorrow evening I will post a more detailed report of my race

Thanks all for the great race!

I dont know what happen exactly, maybe some can provide me an replay. Have no own recording.
But may first race was over after Lap 1 Turn 10 :(. Made it back to the pits but my crew didn't want to repair the suspension. They gave me only new wings. So i stopped my cars before i get some in trouble with an uncontrollable car

Second race was way better. Started in 19th and finished without spinning in 7th.

Neither the System control nor the device manager shows any "recalibration" option. Screenshot? Because I start to believe you mean something else than I think it is.

Also, someone tell me where they have their skins saved. I couldn't see my own neither anybody else's. Some point to UserData\Settings\fr35_car, some to UserData\player(which I don't seem to have by default)\settings\FormulaRenault35s\FR35_10

My pedals seem fine in rF1 but f*cked in rF2.

I want to say sorry to Andrew, i just saw in the replay how badly ended for you when we touched each other in R2, i didn t try to be aggressive or force you to change line, just tried to follow the white line which led me towards you :(

This has been a pretty decent evening for me. :) I'm still pretty timid in the car, running the very 'better safe than sorry' brake pressure of 84%. But I'm feeling pretty confident now, so may see if I can push my luck more next time. :)

Race 1 was a storming success. Qualifying 12th seemed like a positive result, but certainly not as good as finishing 9th in the end. It was certainly an exciting journey along too, passed plenty of people at the start, and plenty more passed me in return. All fair, and all fun. Finished the race on yellow tires all round, having estimated fuel use just right, and finishing with the margin for error I'd intended.

Race 2 didn't go according to plan though. I think I got off to a good start, but then I think this was me you met, Frederic? The second time, anyway
After that I had a spin due to the damaged suspension. I was trying to fight back and then another car did the same thing in another corner.
Slipped a bit going through the rather pedantic turn 11, and that's when Frederic knocked into my left rear. Left me facing backwards and having stalled! (I disabled autoclutch for a faster launch, and must have forgotten to turn it on again once moving...) Fortunately though, the incident left me pointing down a hill so I could bump start the engine. And once moving, I discovered the knock had left my rear left out of alignment. I had to steer left down the backstraight to stay in a straight line! With all the time I lost, and trying to keep that thing on the track, I'm astonished I finished in 8th place (if I recall correctly?), getting a fastest lap of 1:31.17 and without getting lapped by David (though that was close). A positive result, all things considered though I suppose. :)

Congrats David and Matt on the victories. See you guys next time! :)

Tried to make my skin work online a last time.

Actually, in-game, my skin directory is UserData\Settings\fr35_car\FR35_xx(at least my game tells me this). I am confused as what is right now...

Also, just went on the server. What was the fastest lap? I did a 1:30 out of the box and the car didn't tend to run wild on full throttle, at least at the "spoon curve"(the long right hander into the hairpin).

My best lap before was a 1:32... WTH is wrong with my game?

Guess it also has to do with more rubber, but it was suddenly easier to push...

Reading on the Logitech site that for calibration problems, you should try to switch usb ports. I actually did change the port when I cleaned the pots. As if it didn't transfer properly.

Btw: The contact spray I used, or close to it:

Funny, I was watching the replay earlier and saw the incident, and I thought it looked as if you were trying to stay left of the pit exit line. For future I don't think that's really necessary. It certainly isn't in real racing series. A car exiting the pits would need to stay right of the line until it ends but a car already on track, especially at the start of a race, can freely cross it.

The one who got the worst of that was actually Arnaud, who had a brilliant R1 and was probably a threat to win R2. It looks like he didn't have auto-clutch enabled so he ended up stalled on the outside of turn 1 and had to retire.

Off pace but quite eventful races. Rage quit on the 2nd round, didn't like the insta-moaning in the chat for a collision where I don't feel guilty. I suffered a nasty little contact in the 1st lap chicane that left me facing backwards, Hamilton 2008 like, but don't feel the need to blame someone.
I'd love somebody to upload the replays to review the races.
But thanks everyone I fought yesterday, despite no grip it was pleasant racing overall.
About speed limit in pitlane, I thought I should have got a penalty in the 2nd R. pit-stop because I overshot a little bit, but maybe it's not working, maybe it's set @ 100 km/h, maybe I was focusing on a wrong line. Dunno.
Oh and I had issues in the 1st start because I had set max visible vehicles quite low for fps reasons , shouldn't have, I was seeing cars popping in and out the mirrors. Noobish mistake. :ninja:
