Have you tested at some point that 30 cars even works? Regarding lag, pitboxes ect.

Yes offline I did, online I never manage to get 30 guys online for a practicesession. Will do a racesession tomorrow evening probabaly to get some indication, but wouldn't make much difference to 26 drivers looking at lag. The server on sunday will be like it has been all the time, with the only difference that I will kill some other servers that are running, so performance should only improve from what you experience now online.

Use the following template to fill out an absence report:
  • Name & Surname: Christian Michel
  • Round number: All Rounds
  • Reason:
Due to some personal changes, i didn't get the time to be well prepared and than its no fun. So i would like to get out of the Series. Sorry that it's that late but i thought a bit about it.

One of our drivers has unfortunately drop out this round for personal reasons. As I am the reserve driver I will take his seat.
Do we have to mention that in the absence thread?

Will there be two grids tonight? If there will be two, by which criteria are they divided.
Sorry for all the question, but this thing just came up this morning and as a reserve driver I have not followed every discussion here :)

P.S. Points gained by a reserve driver will still count for the constructor championship?!

Hey Frederic, yes please do report in absence thread, that way I know who of your drivers I can replace you with in the race thread.
There will be only one grid afterall, and yes indeed the points you score will count for the teamchampionship:)

Can somebody tell how to increase pedal travel? I thought in rF1 it was sensitivity, but I am not sure where to change things in rF2. But my throttle and brake pedal are too sensitive when applying them, I am getting too much output.

firstly, I don't know I you are aware of a control bug...you need to go to the timing screen and then choose settings then controls....if you press brakes...the first time, the graph goes to 100% in a flash ...like an on off switch...
if you had gone out on the first lap, your brakes would have locked ..

so now you that you have done that, check that your brakes and throttle are at 100%.
In the car setup, I usually set my brake pressure to about 95% for quali and about 89%-92% for race to reduce lockups... you might play around with coast...less coast generally means less travel, better car rotation but more lock up chance.

when I go out, I generally do a warm up lap so I just go onto brakes like a slow spring.....pushing it down...
I as the tyres and brakes warm up, I find I can press the brakes slightly quicker...not jabbing, just jumping on the spring (pedal) a little bit quicker and for a bit longer. after a couple of laps, you start to feel the limit and realise when they are about to lock...in which case, you just ease off (as you probably know)

in summary, your brakes arer probably locking due to ...1) the calibration bug 2) your car setup has brakes at 100% 3) your brakes aren't warmed up or 4) you're jabbing on brakes or 5) your on brakes too long. they are sensitive, so you can't hold them anywhere near as long as other games. 6) there is no rubber on track or it is quite green

hope any of these helps. I really wouldn't reduce control sensitivity in my opinion altho some people do.
