ok, but i have a problem with the opponents strategy. I must to do two pit stop ( high wearing ). The opponents can finish the race with only one pit stop. For me is not important if the race require two or one pit stop. Is important that is the same for all. Sorry for my english
 
Since the Spa GP is on tonight I was doing some 25% quick races and noticed that the car the first place (myself included) would sometimes get DRS (might be when the car in 2nd gets it) with no lapped cars or anything ahead of them. Since I only use this mod I figured I'd post it here to see if anyone else had the same issues.
 
hi, i have an issue..i've installed your patch exactly as your instruction say, but after i complete all young test, i save, exit from the game, and i return, when i load my profile, game crash..

any suggestion?

'cause i've tried so many times differents type of installation without positive result..

Uhm, do we have to download every single file at google docs? No bundle or do I miss something?
Ah, we have to click at "File" and then download ... meh google, always hiding the obvious things.

After many races on different tracks I still think

is safe, haven't seen even one AI going off the track when having no frontwing but they are much much faster, sometimes you don't know which car even got the damage until they enter a tight corner or the pitlane :D

So, as you put in 50% tyrewear again, you've fixed the 2nd season issue?

Thanks Melphiz I'll take a look at that. And yes, I believe I've gotten 50% scaled tyre wear to work well even in the 2nd season. Pitstop strategies for Career and quick races look to be similar if not identical across the board, so I think we're good.

If anyone finds any issues please let me know.
 
now i think that is ok. but, is normal that in every races at least in one session rain? is a random choice of game or you have changed something? in rain qualifyng the ai is too much superior. it is as if they had a firm grip.
 
Can I use HD and FX Mods togheter with this mod? Because I think this would be struggling with the cars and tyre textures except the FX one.
Or the better question is:
Are the textures already HD. If not, would it be possible to make it in the near future?
 
I have a question about the young drivers test that I don't think is cleary answered by the mod's FAQ. Do I have to past them without the mod and after choosing the team install it? Or I have to install the mod without car folder and after the test install it too?

If you'd install the mod after the YDT you'd corrupt your save due to incompatible database.
You better install the chosen team's "cars\<team>\track\<team>abu_dhabi.ctf" and the "track\circuit\Abu_Dhabi\route_0\triggers_pit.xml" after the YDT [not sure about last one but if it's modded 2013 DRS with specific zones only, may be trouble with DRS during YDT]

If you have the weather set to Dynamic for quick races, or you are in Career mode, yes the weather is random.
With the latest patch I decreased the % chance of heavy and light rain by 50% or more for some tracks, so it's odd that you're getting so many sessions with rain. Are you using the latest patch?

You can check the changes by comparing the dynamic_environment_settings table in the v1.0 database with the database in the v1.2 patch (yes I know the mod says it's v1.1, but I didn't want to upload 700+ mb again so I was lazy and just made a 1.2 patch which can be found on the overview page)
 
I'm having a problem where on wet races the AI seems to pit at the end of almost every lap. They go inters sometimes, then go to options when it's still raining heavy. After their flying lap on options they go back into the pits and put on options again. I'm on lap 10 in rainy monaco and Alonso has pit 7 times. Why is this? It's kinda ruining the race haha. Any way I can fix this? Thanks.

Melphiz is right. Here's the easiest thing to do:
Verify files through Steam first (I always recommend this since this is a large mod which touches a lot of files)
Install the mod, but don't copy over the "cars" folder just yet (I'm 99% sure you can install the "tracks" folder without any issues).
Start the game, do the YDT, and get yourself setup (controls, difficulty, etc etc)
Save the game and exit out
Now copy the "cars" folder into your F12012 directory.

Like the overview page says, you can in fact complete the YDT with the entire mod installed, but it's just a little difficult to pass the hairpin test.

Are you using the normal database? or the 50% database?
