Always use the latest version! Also the download links are in the install guide you get via the "download" and they are at the overview page on top of the description. If I want to download sol 2.2.8 where would the download for that be? I only see the installation guide but no download link?
The custom sol_config file I believe is located in:This has likely been asked before but how do I restore my SOL config settings after a version update?? I have made 100+ custom changes in SOL Config (in game) and lose everything whenever I uninstall and then install the new version.
Is there a way to avoid having to start over?
I backed up the sol folders from C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\assettocorsa\apps\python before moving to the latest version
I also lose all of my custom weather setups in "Sol Planner" as well
Thanks
Thank you very much. I was able to restore my sol_planner presets. Unfortunately lost all of my sol_config presets since I did not know where they were stored. No matter, I made notes for the next upgrade and will be better preparedThe custom sol_config file I believe is located in:
C:\Users\yourname\Documents\Assetto Corsa\cfg\Sol
If you backed up the sol_planner folder from the python directory, then you should still have access to all of your custom weather setups. They would be in the plans and presets folders of the sol_planner directory.
same for me... my friend guided me, all good on his side... not working for me and one more friend... we cant figurate it out anymwhereView attachment 679175
i have the latest version but when i go to weather i dont see the controllers button
It is related to the CSP version which you use! If you use CSP 0.1.79 then you don't see this. Those new menus come with CSP 0.1.80p218 or later.same for me... my friend guided me, all good on his side... not working for me and one more friend... we cant figurate it out anymwhere
so we figurated out how to get sol working, but my newest CSP is not working at all. i tried everything with my friend. Always install CSP previews manually. Open the zip and EXTRACT the dwrite.dll and the extension folder to AC root folder (steamapps/common/assettocorsa)so we figurated out how to get sol working, but my newest CSP is not working at all. i tried everything with my friend. I am still having issues with the sol planner. In my Cm WeatherFx weather style is the only option i have no script controller.First install the new Content Manager:
https://github.com/gro-ove/actools/releases/download/v0.8.2569.39678/Content.Manager.zip
It will solve the problem with different CSP verions. Then please have a look in the update post. The weather controller selection is different with different CSP versions:

I have the same issue/question.Hi i was wondering is there a way to use sol planner in custom championships.

hello again, all works fine now! we discovered we are missing some parts wich SOL didnt installed by itself it was some track lights related thing we had to put in manualy... now im running the Pure also and god... thats amazing hahaAlways install CSP previews manually. Open the zip and EXTRACT the dwrite.dll and the extension folder to AC root folder (steamapps/common/assettocorsa)
If something does not work: you have always the option to reset the CSP settings. Go to your Documents/Assetto Corsa/cfg/ folder and rename the "extension" folder to something different. You can backup it later then. Then restart Content Manager.
I've tried all the recommended fixes but nothing works.I have the same issue/question.
Anybody have an answer?
