hello, I downloaded the game recently and with it Sol, but when I try to use "Sol Planner" a message appears that I have not selected Sol 2.2.5 as Wheater Script in the CM, but when I go to see it in my CM I I only have 3 options, Base, SimplePPoff and Sol. No "Sol 2.2.5" or anything like that

I think you mean Sol Planner says: Sol 2.5 weather controller is not set!

Download the linked CM and install it. Then watch at the pictures where you need to set the weather controller. It depends of your used CSP version.

Maybe just read the manual! It will tell you how to install 7zip and how to open 7z files.

Hi, Im having concerns about new sol and possible checksum errors with third party servers (like emperor servers), I just downloaded and installed it, but is there any way to downgrade this version so I can play with CSP with a lower version? Im saying this because i already have some problems with these servers that are disconnecting me for no apparent reason after several minutes driving (Checksum error is a possibility, where newer files or packs are not recognized by the host)

Great mod and everything seems to be working fine! One thing I noticed though is that when I copied the folders from 7zip to the Assetto root folder, the files copied over but I never got a message about overwriting existing files? Mind you this is my first time installing SOL, is this normal or could I have been missing files?

Hm. It would bring this message, if there were already files. You copy the 4 folders apps, content, extension and system to steamapps/common/assettocorsa/ ?

Dragged and dropped all 4 folders into steamapps/common/assettocorsa/
It’s possible maybe one didn’t make it over I suppose? Out of the 4 folders how many/which ones contain files that’s need to overwrite the originals?
Would it be a good idea to run the SOL uninstaller followed by re-copying each folder back one at a time?
Like I said though everything seems to be working smoothly! Just thought I’d enquire about why there wasn’t any overwriting message/option, seems odd.

If everything works, imo it's ok. If Sol weather app shows the right version...

Hello im using Sol v2.29 and CM v0.8.2561.39678 right now. I cant save my sol cofig settings ,everytime I open the game all the settings goes to default.

Heads up, my mate just installed SOL and same thing happened to him, no overwriting prompt but everything runs smoothly, so doesn’t seem to be isolated to just me

Hi, Rain does not with Sol for me, what have i done wrong?
I googled but everything i find tells me "buy the preview version" from Patreon, but i have done that.
I have Rain if i deactivate Sol, but as soon as i want to use Sol, there is not a single raindrop. There are puddles if i set them in the starting condition, but no rain.
(Versions:
CM: 0.8.2569.39678
CSP: 0.1.80-preview346
Sol: 2.2.9 (reinstalled it a few minutes ago, used the bast to uninstall and then moved the folders in to ac)

Did you install CSP preview 346 manually? Don't do it via CM!

Sol don't make the rain, Sol Sontroller just controls it. Where do you set the rain?

If i have WeatherFX WeatherStyle set to "Sol" and in offline practice choose this Weather:

and this controller:

I have Rain.
If i leave WeatherFX WeatherStyle ("Sol")as it is , leave the controller as it is and only change Weather to:

My Rain works, as long as i don't use Sol.

weather style and controller are two different things. So you can leave it to "Sol" in the weather style/script. If you set the controller to Sol 2.5, no matter if you choose static or dynamic, how Sol Planner looks? Open it ingame. Its the app to control the weather, or which control it.

Also open CSP Python apps Debug ingame and switch to the "Log" tab and make a screenshot.
