Misc Sol 2.2.9

Hi Peter,
I have updated everything to the latest versions and I have pure and Sol working ok. I do have one issue with Sol Planner where I can load in a preset from a fresh install but when I run the game again the planner sets the time as 00:00 and the date at 1970. I cannot get it to change even by loading in another preset and I cannot change the time/date manually with the arrow options? Any idea on what could be causing this?

Seems the file is broken. Do you made this preset with the new version or is it an old one? If it is an old one, can you post it?

I downloaded the preset from here on RD https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/lemans-24h-2023-weatherplan.61374/ It was created in June using Sol/Pure so I would assume not much has changed planner wise since then. It works on the first install and selection but will bug as described on subsequent runs. I am also getting an issue whereby ending the race brings up a 'Game Crashed error message instead of Race ended so I will check the preset to make sure that isn't causing the error. It may well be the preset is bugged but it is strange that it will work first time.

Did you put the ini file in "apps\python\SolPlanner\plans" or "apps\python\SolPlanner\presets" ?

I took the preset out and the race cancelled as it should. I then used a pre installed preset and the weather/planner worked fine, but the very next time I used the planner with the same pre installed preset (Le Mans 21 test) it it reverted to midnight/1970 and the game crashed on ending the race. It's almost like I can use it once but after that it no longer works with any preset and the reset button fails to work as does the time/year feature. The skies will cycle day/night but the time/year stays exactly the same. Hope this info helps.

I have now fathomed that the static settings have a planner section purely to change weather on the fly in game without backing out of a session. The Dynamic is for changing a whole race session. I still can't work out why a imported preset won't work and why you can select Sol or Pure in the weather style section. Is pure a weather and PP combined and does it affect the selection in the PP mode? What happens if I select a Sol filter in the PP section but use Pure in the weather? Is it the case that Pure is Sol and we just ignore Sol if we are using Patreon?

Still doesn't work. I'm going to leave until it's sorted out. Again I have restarted the game after being able to set my own weather and again it's reverted to midnight and 1970. I have searched and can only find one question regarding this problem but not an answer. If it comes down to something in my add on collection then that is going to be an issue. Does the app have to save before a race quit?

Pure is a different weatherFX script. It is like Sol but much more advanced. You can't use Sol pp scripts with Pure. But it will not cause such problems like the date bug you have, if you use Sol ppfilter scripts with pure.

The weather look and the weather control is strictly separated in CSP. So Sol is a combination of weather controller and weather script/style. The controller defines the weather (type, rain, wind, temperatures) and the script/style will show it. So the weather style is like a graphics mod.

For now Pure is just a style, but with the next update it will have its own controller and planning app. Pure Planner is much more advanced than Sol Planner and there I solved many problems Sol Planner has. So maybe just wait for the next update. I try to release it end of the month. Then you can throw away Sol and only use Pure....

Please open the in-game python apps debug, switch to "log" tab and make a screenshot.

hello, I downloaded the game recently and with it Sol, but when I try to use "Sol Planner" a message appears that I have not selected Sol 2.2.5 as Wheater Script in the CM, but when I go to see it in my CM I I only have 3 options, Base, SimplePPoff and Sol. No "Sol 2.2.5" or anything like that
