Hey guys, anyone with a Fanatec DD1/2, pls can you give me the length of the main body exactly.
The drilling template doesn't show this dimension. Can't find it anywhere, or am I missing something obvious?
Ordered one, and designing the base plate, and need to understand clearance behind it, as my monitor is right behind the wheelbase.

I posted earlier my new set up which I had intended to be a VR only set up.

I've had a slight change of plan! I had an HP Reverb G2 on pre-order, but as I already have an Oculus Rift I thought a new monitor would be good too get the best of both worlds.

So cancelled the G2, and got these:

Sim-Labs monitor mount:

AOC Ultrawide 3440x1440p monitor:

I must admit I'm enjoying the monitor immensely.

Love that setup. The PSE wheel is amazing, I had one but the buttons were not to my taste (they click without activating)

What button boxes are those and how do you like them?

They are DSD button boxes. I like them but they flex a little since the mount is made from plastic.

Over time I will probably going to make an aluminium mount for them.

I had the same ones on my Rseat formula V2 setup like 5 years back I caught a button box with my bottoms sitting down was the slightest of pressure just snapped it clean off the mount just split in half,
I loved the boxes but wouldn’t buy any more because if that reason.

Well I knew about the flex before I bought them so it wasn't a surprise.
But my brother is a CNC operator for a living so I'm just gonna let him make me aluminium mounts.
Because even if the mounts are flimsy, I do actually like the boxes themselves.
