I'm back for some racing. / Finally I got me a Obutto Ozone cockpit, after planning to do so at some point in time for about ten years.. . :)
It's heavy, solid = rigid, all fine with it !

It would be just nice if the seat could be set at least one or two additional clicks farther back. It is already slided back at the most back possible raster hole.
To get some more distance between you and the wheel. Since the wheel(base) itself has quite some overhang, more than a G25 for example. - But for now it is ok, especially since the distance to the pedals is perfect on the other hand.

(BenQ XL2411Z, 144Hz, LED Monitor, known as the "e-Sports monitor" ; Leo Bodnar D-Sub to USB adapters for Logitech G25 pedals and Logitech G25 shifter, to continue to use those parts of my previously in use Logitech G25 wheel)

...after ten years of sitting buckled on the couch while racing, with everything mounted and placed to the coffe table. And using a year 2009 60Hz monitor 'only'.
Now, with the seat, my back finally got a backplate to lean on.

Hows the build going ?

- Seat installed
- Actuator cable management done
- Thanos controller & Bajer E-stop got delivered and installed

Actuators, controller and E-Stop are working like they should. From this point now, i dont have to worry about electronics, actuators and cablemanagement. From now on things are gonna go straight forward, just mounting all the other equipment, build the triple screen stand, build the seatbelttower and so on. Timeline to go out first on track after more then two months are sundaymorning now.

So plenty much to do, but im really confident about it.

Thx!
I kept looking everyday for a progress fix lol we love this stuff keep us updated :D

Thought I would share my new set up and space I made for it. I built a summerhouse in the garden last year for fitness equipment. Its quite big, plenty of room to house my new set up.

The problem was it was really just a big shed! So over the last few weeks I've insulated it, put up wooden framing inside, plasterboarded, and decorated:

Next the good stuff! I'm coming from a T500rs with original ClubSport pedals mounted on a WheelStand Pro.

New gear:

Sim-Labs GT1-Evo
Simucube 2 Sport
Sim Racing Coach adapter to use my Thrustmaster 599xx Alcantara wheel
OMP TRS-E seat

This is purely a VR set up, I currently have an Oculus Rift but have a Reverb G2 on pre-order.

Very happy with how the space turned out, and very, very happy with my new set up.

Some very interesting pedals heel support and pedals plates you have here. What are these?

@johnny_91
it looks like an expensive seat, from what I can see of it, it also looks very well padded and very comfortable.
If you could tell me what seat it is I would be most grateful even though it is probably out of my price range.
I have been looking for a replacement from my Sparco rev2.

Amazing rig, no H shifter though, maybe not enough cars for online competition with that kind of shifter
