Slightly delayed news about a Slightly Mad Studios product - Project CARS 3 is now available to the general public having released on console and PC Thursday 27th August.
  • PCARS 3 available on Xbox, PS4 and PC.
  • Over 200 cars and 120 tracks available.
At long last, following a brief early access period for people who pre-ordered the title, Project CARS 3 has finally released to the wider world - hitting real and virtual stores yesterday (Thursday 27th August) for both console and PC versions of the title.

Representing something of a departure from the original Project CARS franchise, the third instalment of the series places a greater focus on the customisation of both the car and game experience - moving away from the more simulation roots of the original games.

With a loyal fanbase of the original games having mixed feelings about the new direction on the build up to release, it will be very interesting indeed to see how well received the new title is over the coming days and weeks.

I did a test at a friend's house ... I didn't even get the boring music for him ... where are the game settings, like graphics, like in other games .... the game screens are very confusing, you don't know where to start, to exit the game and go back to windows, no key .... we had to give CTRL + ALT + DEL ...... I will certainly pass away from pCars3 ... I will save my money for something better.

Good for you if you feel like listening to some dweeb "youtuber" ranting about a game company.
As if he'd even know what it takes to make a game, arcade or otherwise.

I said it was an arcade racer, which is perfectly fine.

The hate is coming from the simracers who's expectations are misaligned with the reality of it.

They're not even the target market for it.

I might buy it when it gets to $10 to have a play, but apart from that it's no skin off my nose.

And I said I don't care if it's arcade or not but fix the damn bugs.....but you didn't even read what I said so go for it, it will be your $10 not mine.

Simracing has always been a trap for big game developers. They have been left with no choice as to start marketing simple games as simulators. There was no choice left as to switch a paradigm of car simulation. I think for them it has worked on so far. But seems like developers of PC3 has went too far on it. I hope that with generations to come it won't become normal, but who knows, the tendency is to believe in things getting easier being more true, and it is naturally and intuitively understood as improvement in simulation, because thats how improvement is understood in real life. The problem is that any fantasy way of performance is easily achievable in simulation.

Pcars 3 gives me the same FFB than Rfactor 2 on the Nordschleife with the Bentley.

Now if you want you can check it by yourself. Buy Rfactor 2, the Bentley and the Nordschleife and try it.

Same FFB than Rfactor 2 and it's not a joke. Think about that!

I'm using a Simplicity SW10C+ DD wheel.

All the games i own.

Because it's buggy but not what you said.

Did you buy it?

This time, it's not a pure sim but it deserves interest and Bell is not cheating. There are good things inside but it's not pure sim.(it's a fun sim)

So in an effort to support this....disaster that's called Project Cars (the entire TRILOGY)....for your own reasons....you're willing to go so FAR as to claim that they have better physics than what pretty much everybody considers as some of the best racing SIMULATORS out there? Even simcade fans do! Wow.....talking about fanaticism.

You really don't know me or my tastes or preferences, so if i were you, i would abstain from personal accusations and keep on topic. I stated my opinion, if you don't like it, just ignore it...
