I know we are all excited for this release. What I don't know is how many people intend to a) play it on the xbox one and b) would like to join some sort of a formal league here at Race Department.

There are so many possibilities, I've had to calm myself down from getting lost in them. However, my main passion, IndyCar, will probably not be able to be run until the DLC with the ovals comes to the Xbox One.

That said, what sort of series would you like to see? Personally, ones that come to mind are Tudor United Sports Car Series, WEC, British Touring Car, and DTM. One of these could fill the gap for me until IndyCar is possible, but others may have better ideas.

Please indicate below if you are interested and what sort of times you are available and which series' you prefer. We could follow the actual schedule of many a series, due to the timing of the release. Personally, if they get the ovals out before IndyCar starts, I'll probably turn my focus there, but nothing would prevent running another alongside.

The anticipation is killing me! :sick:

Can't see any mention of the new sprint procedure I'm sure they haven't been told about the 5 minute warm up first sector thing. Not being a pain just want everyone to be on the same page is all
It's not just the new guys, that's the first I've heard about a 5-minute warm up.

I see it's in the rules and regs now, wasn't there before!
WARMUP RULES
  • · Drivers must not pass the S1 line in the warmup.
  • · Drivers are allowed to drive back up the grid for a practice start.
Any chance of someone explaining this?

attaboy @Ben Milden you crack that whip......:roflmao:

Basically the sprint race is random grid order Adam checked it and it is definetly random we checked all senarios. So the warm up is there for people to check there wheels and car settings before the race but you can't set a lap time hence the sector one rule

@ChristosG99 @SR_1ceman @SR_TYCOON @Steven Bold @Adam marks @Rob McEwan @Benjamin McC @Lance Loomis @Gareth Williams @LIAMATTHURSO @omari watson 1 @Teix7 @Steve1683

You can't pass first sector line, so that on every track gives you a chance to check your wheel is calibrated.

You can come out of the pits and go the wrong way down the main straight to do practice starts on the race grid

Yes, I understand its a random grid for the sprint race. but if it's a warm-up session why can't we complete a lap? And are they saying that it's ok to drive the wrong way around the track while people are practicing starts?
