Long time RD forum user but never raced in any RD official races. I'd really love to try, especially being italian since this race is in Misano. How do i enter my subscription? Do i need to upgrade my basic RD account? Thanks for the kind answers.

Hi Giando,

You're very welcome! This is what you have to do.
First upgrade your RD account to premium.
Then enter your name in your RD account/account details in the field Real Name. It's for internal use only.

If you have done that, post here again or send me a PM and I will give you the necessary information for joining our events.

Yes, I am using CM, but not CSP if not absolutely nevesary, like this track.
I have been playing AR 46 fps and usually I can see 90...
Willing to see your file if it can make changes

I was not able to load this truck, I wrote Han and he finally discover it is because I have not installed CSP.

I finally got to check this and I'm sorry but you don't need CSP to make this track work!
I disabled all of CSP and I can get on the server without any issues.

In any case, here's the super basic CSP preset anyway:
Version used:
0.1.76
as it seems to be required for some tracks and didn't cause me any trouble at all yet!

Drop that file in here:
%localappdata%\AcTools Content Manager\Presets\Custom Shaders Patch Presets

(yes, you can copy that path with the % and paste it into the address bar at the top in the explorer)

Or you can click on this link and say "yes" and "yes, save and apply" when asked to start CM from within your browser and then apply the preset.

Btw, here are 2 screenshots.
First one with the CSP preset, second without any CSP:

What to see in them:
CSP On vs Off:
GPU:
ON: 70% @ 780 MHz
OFF: 76% @ 780 MHz

CPU:
ON: 16% load, MAIN_T = 24.7%, CPU = 2.881 ms
OFF: 19% load, MAIN_T = 43.9%, CPU = 4.817 ms

It doesn't really matter for my PC as my GPU can clock to 1850 MHz and my 90 FPS limit means 11.1 ms between frames so 2.9 vs 4.8 ms doesn't make a difference but in theory, the CPU difference means:

1000 ms (1 second) divided by 2.881 = 347 FPS
And with 4.817 ms it's only 207 FPS

The error was I can not load the track, error was race canceled.
I must say I do not have installed CSP at all (removed), once I installed again, the track works, but... A very low fos, like 46...and awfull quality, is very bad to see forward,
I must say, because that is because I use to remove it... Usually with CSP removed I am able to play with 90 fps or more... OK, probsbly I can no see the grass, smoke, or the breaks, but I prefer to have clear view in a simplest game.
Thank you Rasmus for all this work, I am really impressive how this community work, I should be found it earlier..

But you can just disable everything apart from the optimisations and actually gain performance


So install csp Version 0.1.76 and then click on my link to get the preset loaded or drop the preset file in the correct folder and then select the preset in csp.

For the preset selection, you need to be in the "General Patch Settings" of CSP.
It's the top entry of the "Extentions". Upper third on the left.

Then the preset drop-down menu is in the bottom bar of content manager.

You should then see all extentions apart from the general patch settings being gray.

Well yes, yes and yes.
But after we had green light for giving you all an Emperor account, I've reconfigured the championship so that participants have to sign up for every event. That's because it isn't a real championship but just a convenience format for similar single events with fixed cars and tracks with variable amount of pitboxes. And it give the participants to choose their car and livery.

So instead of posting in the thread, you can go to Emperor to sign up, quite similar as you did with S.GP.
