AC Group C @ Sebring International Raceway - Weds 22nd July 2020

Assetto Corsa Racing Club event
On the washout thing it could be partly due to all the club races being in clear blue sky conditions at midday. I find the tracks look alot better when there is more of an angle on the sun. Is the option there to mix it up or does it cause problems?

The brake lights seem fine to me when I tested 'em earlier today against the AC AI. I can see why I don't race off-line, the AI is terrible - worse than me:cautious:  In that regard, I'd rather keep the status quo in terms of the time of day for the race in AC.

John, I'll probably not be back in time for the practice, but I should make the qualy...

Thanks for letting me know Patrick, see you when we do ;)

@Medilloni I'm not feeling well today, but the race is 4 hrs away so there's a slight chance that I'll be able to make. If it's ok, just leave an extra ST for me. If I'm not there, you guys have a great race with these awesome machines. I'll keep trying to join you guys. Some days it works out, others it doesn't.
Cheers
Sorry to hear that Bobby, hoping for a fast recovery for you:) ...I'll leave you in for now though, so there's a few spares!

@Medilloni, John can you put me in the Mercedes C9 please.:)
Your bravery Sir, is admirable!;) That's done Ernie.

Finding it hard to get the Mazda stable at all. Very very twitchy.
I think Han had a good solution to this George (which Chris might be alluding to), and that is to accelerate well before the power curve takes off, by which time you should be on a straight bit. I guess!

With the ST I've softened the back end for traction as much as poss - either way, these cars are wee beasties!

Am hoping to make it this evening, if I'm not too late. No practice in any of the cars so I guess I'll go with the numbers and try an ST please :D
Brilliant, hope you can Neil ;) I've put you down for the ST.

Spare cars so far are:

2 Mazda's
1 Merc
1 Porsche LT
1 Porsche ST

@Bobby Pennington I've allocated your car for you if you can make it buddy

Group C is awesome :D Thank you John for this one. I did lots of laps before because I had so much fun with the LT, incredible.

After the last Group C Race where @Kek700 showed us how it’s been done in the LT I was like „Not this time. I’ll pick the LT as well to keep up with you“

Pole: Ernie Wright in a Mercedes C9

Damn... the C9 is Even more a beast than the LT. I had no chance following you on the straights (again) :confused:Next time will be Mercedes time. Let’s see with what you will come up then:D well played and congrats, stunning pace. You would have deserved victory:thumbsup:
