Took this from the other thread.. I assume that was a 1:26.51 on this track Karl? I just had a go myself in the same car and am even more gutted to be missing out now. Such a briliant track to drive in these cars and I managed a 1:26.84 so there could have been some close racing again here.

Can't believe how much speed you can take through so many of the corners that look as though they need braking and dropping down the gears. Took me several laps until I realised and then built up the confidence to take them with the speed that they are capable of. With tuning I can imagine a couple of seconds coming off that time too.

Ya Peter it was brands hatch. And i totally agree. you can carry so much speed through the corners if you get the turn in right. At first the car felt heavy and i only managed a 1:31, but within 5 or 6 laps the time came down quite a bit.
Not sure of the other cars.... i tried them all untuned to see which felt better as i doubt i'll get to a proper levelup to tune before the race. The BMW lost the back end a lot in the 3 laps i drove it. It felt fast, but it just wasn't. The ford and the honda were ok, but sitting on the other side of the car made it tricky in the first and second turn, there is a huge post in the way and your sight to the apexs are blocked. considering this track is filled with right hand turns i don't think it would be advantageous to take the ford or the honda unless you use a view other than cockpit

Wasn't a Sty, Something wrong with the optic disc in my left eye, so gotta have a MRI scan some point this week. They have big optical chart with letters on and i couldnt see one with my right eye covered Been driving about with 1 & a half eyes and still managing to win just about

I have had my share of eye issues. Not fun. Hope you get better soon. We missed you.

yea, too bad i missed it.. i waited and waited and fall in sleep, i made time free for this.
but looking at laptimes the ai are not very fast(my ai was faster yesterday lol), so im not racing with them.

Sorry about that, but I don't think the time changed, just the designation of GMT. Many think GMT is equivalent to what time it is in London, but I was informed by Bram that it best to post races in actual GMT, so that's GMT+1 in London. But as far as I know the actual time didn't change. Sorry for the confusion. These races may be juggled around a bit, but mostly on Saturday nights. So keep a watch. Love to have you as always.

Patches can release any day of the week, they aren't restricted to a Tuesday.

Just a heads up but I've heard things are progressing nicely and I'm hopeful that the release should soon follow. As soon as the dates have been confirmed by both Microsoft and Sony I'll let you know.

We had an issue last week which was brought up but has since been fixed and things are now back on target. Again, deeply apologize for the delay in getting this out to you but we're hoping you'll soon be back on track.

It's true GMT Peter. Not "let's all assume GMT=the time in England" GMT. I was contacted by Bram about this. You can always go off of U.S. time if you want. You are +5 I believe.

Are you hitting the redline either waiting on the start or during any shifting? I did the Indy race last night and I had no issues with gears at all. I adjust my gears but I also do not redline the engine.

Good to know another MS Wheel user with the game . Have you found this 'floatiness' feel that has been referred to Karl? hat seems crazy to have deadzone at 5% increments, I usually have mine set to about 1 or 2% I think. @Railer Cantrell has a Madcatz FFB wheel that he has managed to find a nice feel with apparently so maybe he can offer some advice on the best settings to use.. not sure how comparable our wheels are but worth a shot.

I will get me setting I use and post them here. I have some issue with FFB still wanting to move the car but I use a firm grip on the wheel to keep it from shaking too much.

TBH I am taking pretty much everything I hear from them with a king sized pinch of salt.. how many times have we heard it's almost ready? Hopefully by the time I am back in this series it will be with us because it's a game killer right now with almost completely empty lobbies every time I check. Been trying for over a week to get this leveling up going but it's just not happening.

I love the AI in this game Wes, I have just finished a race at Brands where I had to really work for the lead after losing it at the stat and then once ahead had to really place my car well to prevent any overtakes. The AI in this game are simply the best I have come across. If we are light on the grids I really see no reason why we should remove them. If they are too slow then they shouldn't bother you too much Obviously if the majority want them out I guess thats the way to go but i'm with Robert on this one in that they add a nice extra element to the races.
