is it possible to make a mod with F1-cars from F1 2013 which overwrites the Formula C in Grid Autosport?

Anyone heard about these restricted garage slots? Only allowed 35 max (40 with the DLC).

At level 25 the slots go up in price to 100,000 on level 50 its 150,000 and another 50k for every 25 levels you go up.

What a rip off. Growing very tired of all the baggage that comes with this game.

It's like I've found a pretty girl in a bar, enjoyed her company all evening,take her home and have a fun night, then get woken up in the morning by her 3 kids she never told you about.

I had a quick go in a tuned car and put a 1:31.9 down within a few laps... then jumped back into the default setup and laid down a 1:32.8 within 3 laps. should be fun on Monday regardless of tuning i think.

I knew it. Was just a matter of time. . Glad I recorded Washington.

Hey, little tip here. Since you have the corupt file issue, save your old file to the cloud and your USB Stick, then create a new profile. It will appear and ride alongside your corrupt one (mine does, at least). Then, when the patch comes, it will double your garage space. And the patch then should allow you to play both, or either.

but the car is everywhere and im not really feeling the car.
are we really racing with ai? im not a big fan of that.
i know you owned a mini, but dont think they feel like this on the limit.
@Peter, theres only a small range i use at the wheel. you have that too?

Like I said, I don't think GRID A/S feels like a MINI and it's cat-like responsiveness, but I have raced cars like the MINI on the limit and they DO slide. Quite a bit in fact. I don't think people realize just how much loss of traction, tire-skipping, etc. happens when you really race non purpose-built sedans because they just watch them on T.V. Some are better than others of course, but the MINI in here with my tuning and my wheel settings and my in game settings feels pretty good. Not far from Race Pro for me. But you have to remember, in Race Pro, you were used to the WTCC cars, and they are much more race-prepared than a MINI, so you would expect them to be tighter.

Overall, I don't think you really get into the SIM world until you go on a computer with a high end wheel or next gen. Something like iRacing, or maybe PCars or Forza 5 on the xbox one.

I'm going to do a little test and try to find an identical track and an identical car (or close) on Race Pro and on GRID A/S and compare the times and the handling.

yea, cars slide and cars should slide. and i like sliding cars but i mean the handling and physics. and untill now for me grid a/s feels closer to forza then to racepro but its a fun game and it might change after some more testing and setups for wheel and car..
both games have spa for your test.. i already tested this lol
btw. wtcc is not what i drive mostly at racepro

If the car is everywhere and your still doing 32's then we're in trouble lol

We include the AI usually if the grid is light. I actually enjoy them in this game but I guess a discussion could be had in the lobby of people would prefer not to have them.

What do you mean about the wheel range Wes?

I had a little run out this morning to gt a quick refresher before tonight running the default setup. Around a second down on my tuned car times which isn't too bad but the gears were reported as damaged before the end of the second lap . I ran a full 20 minute practice session and by the time I had got to the last 8 minutes the gearbox sounded like a box full of spanners .

Any advice on how I prevent this? Am I simply not shifting up early enough and it's the short time in the red that messes them up so quickly, can it be that i'm downshifting too quickly.. I am so used to shifting on the sound of the F1 car but I don;t feel as though I am abusing the gears in these cars but clearly something is amiss with my technique here.

i was sure it was 6pm 11pm too.

@Robert Waddell this levelling up malarkey isn't as easy as we thought is it lol, got on before 6pm as suggested to see if you were on but when you weren't I checked to see what was going on elsewhere and bugger all in the online lobby's... Hard to believe the game was released just 5 weeks ago

Tested to see whether the very basic tuning I have on my Mini would be of any use but no go. Can only move the brakes and suspension either full right or left and that was not good lol

Gears are too short in the default tune too so top speed is down but I did adjust my shifting and avoided the gearbox damage at least.

Had my wheel lock full right at the end too, had to force it straight and hold it there otherwise it just returned full right so hope that is not something that happens again later.

More tomorrow but just had to say that was immense fun tonight.. That second race with abt 15 laps of racing with Robert was great to race in and I think Karl must have enjoyed it too have stayed with us for the duration lol. Shame I'll be missing out for the next couple or so though :/

By the way I saw Rob Carver online playing the game the other night so pointed him in our leagues direction. He messaged me tonight saying he's struggling with the wheel settings so I'll give him a few tips tomorrow and see if he will come along and join us
