I'll be on for an hout or two before going back to beddd
Doesn't really need a fully levelled car here Michael. I find even just an open diff and everything else down the middle was enough to get a good time and consistency. If you get 50's on everything it should be plenty.

I find the opposite. I needed to be leveled up completely, but not crucial. The open diff slides the car like mad on high speed corners for me, so mine is -80. -100 would probably be good too, or +100 if you feel Peter's setup feels better.

Gearing is crucial. If mine were not at -70 I'd have slower times. I've tried them all. But basically, the the settings, like suspension (I prefer -80, Peter likes it stiffer), can be _/+100 either way and you will be fine. Height is obviously -100 and braking not relevant. So don't worry too much. The real time gains are, as always, in the practice. Hope you are enjoying Chicago and seeing some sights we saw on video a couple weekends ago.

Best time so far - 1:19.3

It's strange how opposite we go on diff lol

I find no advantage to the ride height adjustment so far and although happier with a stiffer car I would still be pretty happy with it at the middle.

It's good to see the differences though, makes things far more interesting than if we all found the same things worked.

I'll be on 8:30pm to 10:30pm US Eastern if anyone cares to practice. LESS THAN TWO DAYS PEOPLE! lol.

1:19.343

What you got?
It's all been very quiet on here hasn't it.. Nobody giving anything away for this one. I'll be expecting to see you up front and centre for this one Robert ;)

1:19.4 a couple of days ago, but I'll be running some more laps today  but I'll be at work at those times I'm afraid.

Well, I have some news. Online is very different than offline it appears, or it's the whole "box of chocolates" approach Codemasters quality non-control takes to assuring online games are consistent.
Ran with Railer tonight, and he got a 1:18.7 within 10 laps and barley level, and I was stuck in the 1:21s. Go figure. But I'm glad we have one more in the mix!

There's always been that online/offline issue for me that's why I'm glad I got those sessions in earlier this week with you so know what to expect.

Key thing here will still be to keep it out of the wall or rails, do that and you can still get a decent result even with times on the 20's.

Problem is, each session is different. The sessions with you more closely matched offline, but tonight with Railer, it was WAY WAY off. Could be me, but I was so consistent before.

anybody running laps Friday Night? I have hardly gotten any track time, being out of town all week. I did get some racing in Thursday night with some indoor Karting  Those little electric karts are pretty awesome 45 mph inside of a warehouse designed course.

There is apparently one of these close Atlanta Railer.. maybe we should meet up and race sometime..

Yea, been to one of those in Norfolk. Fun, but felt a little arcadey. lol. Anyway, I've been on all night, but no sign on anyone.
