That was the founder of the Xbox F1 league, Dylan Hember driving that car Great memories
The mirrors were actually not as good as the start of that video showed, you couldn't actually use them reliably as the cars had to be right on top of you to appear properly and had a very odd look too, hence why Dylan was using the look back instead. This years are far better but just a shame they are low res.
@Matthew Booth can you beleive that was the year we were team mates in the Williams, THREE years ago .. I actually came home fourth in that race.. ahh the nostalgia of it all lol
I'm glad I joined this league, because you guys forced me to get rid of the "safety blanket" assists of this game and I think its made me a better driver, at least on GAS. I've always used the excuse of not being able to "feel" the car as a reason to utilize the assists. So Cheers to you guys!Yeah was good times in the Williams. Think we had a team williams area with Chris B somewhere along the line been here 3 years now seems like longer . Was trying to find in my PM's but all i found was an unfortunate video from "Walter Flugal" Which im sure @Chris Hempsall will fondly remember
Istanbul is the only reason i can use no assists. Ended up in a session with Chris B & Euan with them locked off so went about figuring my controller into a way i felt comfy and went on from there.
Wouldn't have minded a run out but will only just about be finishing the Melbourne GP around then and another session would be a bit too much for one evening I'm afraid.Glad you joined too Michael.
And for those with noting better to do, I'm going to host a 20 minute X 2 Istanbul race for tomorrow at 4:30pm EST U.S. If nobody shows, I'll race the A.I. on "very hard" myself, but feel free to be on then. If you are, I'll invite you and you can go from there. Practice races are probably the best preparation IMO.
