Points System

Points: 1-25; 2-18; 3-15; 4-12; 5-10; 6-8; 7-6; 8-4; 9-2; 10-1
Pole = 1 point
(Each Race scores points; pole point only counts for first race)

Race Format
TOURING CLASS -- There will be a qualifying session to start after a minute in the menu section to get your car tuned if you own it (but it's best to pre-tune it from your garage). The qualifying session will be in the form of a race (since there is no on-line qualifying) of three laps, from a standing start. (Don't forget, if there is A.I. in the race, the qualifying session and subsequent line-up will include A.I. slotted to their respective times). Following this, there will be two races of 30 minutes each (or the equivalent number of laps it would take the best A.I. driver to reach 30 minutes). Grid order will be qualifying order for Race 1 and order of finish of Race 1 for Race 2.
Grids of less than 8 drivers will be filled out with A.I. on "hard" difficulty.

Be careful because the game does not allow pit stops, so repeated damage (indicated by icons on the right lower HUD and progressive in increments of yellow then red) due to a well developed damage model could seriously compromise your race.

Flashbacks: None
Tuning: Allowed
Upgrades: Disallowed
View: Any
Gears: Manual or Automatic
Assists: Disallowed

Hi Guys! Im back :)
I worked a lot :( I hope this weekend will be the end of this crazy series!
I'll look arond here on the forum and I'll be back this weekend if its possible!

I was thinking about next race...I like the not too strong/powerful cars I think I could like some brand cup. I mean for example Golf R32 Cup,BMW 1 Cup or a bit bigger but not the Ford GT40 :D ...something like this.
Okay thanks! I think that makes two requests for those kinds of cars.

@Dmitriy Ivanov @Railer Cantrell @Karl Fuss @Peter Hooper @Matthew Booth @Wessel Slagter @Jens Christian Jensen

What would be your respective pics (From Street or Tuner Class if you voted anything but open wheel...and from Open Wheel if you voted for that) for the next series? Thanks.

If no reply in a week, we will pick for you (I think a couple of you mentioned Hyspercar or Supercar).
those cars we were driving last night were good. I'd choose them. Touring B class i think right?
the thing with those cars is everyone was close in lap time... they would make for close competitive racing.... that's what everyone wants right?

Problem is, everyone wants a different kind of series. Granted, the one car option is winning now, but two of those votes came from a driver not involved in the current series and a driver who has made two races.
I know it's frustrating, but I don't see how we get around it, especially since we could never agree on a single category, much less a single car.
But I have a semi-viable solution. To ease the burden, I think two races from each the open wheel category and GT class category will be on ovals (I can turn off the tuning option), and the other eight races would be limited to four cars. Two for open wheel and two for GT, instead of six, as we have now.
As far as the GT classes go, if those guys can agree on just a couple of cars, it would be great, but everyone may not want that. However, unless I hear back in a week, we will run a car from the Muscle group (picked by Michael) for three races and only one other car (either picked by the directors or a responder) for the other three races. As for the open wheel guys, I think we can agree on three cars total. That way, you would only have to level four cars in a 12 race schedule and you would have more time to do it if place the four oval races in between the non oval races.
if we run cars that we don't tune they have to be cars that are drivable without tuning... these ones coming up now are too much of a handful i think without tuning so they wouldn't be a good choice.
with the new F1 game coming out i don't think many will have time to put into levelling up the cars. I won't for sure, that's why if we switch cars it would be best for them to be drivable without tuning them.

That would be the idea behind cup races (No Leveling up Needed). You take a completely stock car and run it, (all Upgrades and Tuning Disallowed) It would be like International Race of Champions, IROC, Identically prepared cars on different tracks. I know the Class C touring are good stock, and Muscle Tuner Mustang is a beast in stock mode. Hot Hatch, Coupe's, and GT cars are also fun to drive in stock mode.

Agree. But i think the idea is to fully explore the game. There are many more cars and tracks. There are other cars like them in other categories. How can I tell? Because I can keep up with you guys in them...lol. But, yea, it was clear, at least to me, that we'd want something like those cars next go around.

Can i choose the caparo T1 then whatever series that is.

Sure. Bear in mind none of us, including me, are guaranteed our choices will appear, since what many are concerned about is playability and not picking too many cars to level up. Also, we'd need to to some testing to ensure the cars we do pick are stable and can be raced fairly closely by all, regardless of skill in a certain area, or the need for massive tuning exercises.

Agree. These will be oval series' mainly (use your skill in drafting and nor wrecking instead of making a rocket ship). Like the Indy 500 or the Brickyard 400. Luckily, we have two nice ovals.
