I can anytime Friday. Just give me a time. Only thing I have is a race on Forza5 at 3pm. It's the new Formula "e" series car they have in Forza5. Pretty cool. Very steady in torque, but top speed not so much. With good grip, it's like driving an open wheel MINI. With no sound. But I love hearing the tires only.

I wont' be available until 6pm or 7pm Robert. I'll let you know when i'm getting on.

the default setup is ok... but a little tuning makes it a little more comfortable. i did two 10 lap races tonight. first in default and second with a little springs added.FL first race 1:29.941. FL second race 1:30.040. But i think the second race was quicker although iforgot to get the time fron the first race.

maybe someone can help me level up friday night or saturday morning....

I can do a few session on saturday if you want. I'm all levelled up but havent had any practice.

Is it not possible to go back in Career mode and win the races you didn't win previously as in most other games?, I don't generally do SP\Career modes but when I do I quite often accept 2nd, 3rd etc on tracks or in classes I don't like just to progress, knowing that I can usually go back at some point and win it. In this game I lost several races when I first started playing due to the stuttering issue, since I've cured that I wanna go back and win those, however I can't see any way of doing that?,

I've been unable to map the throttle to my HPP gas pedal (X axis) since the game was initially patched post-launch. After posting about the issue here, and on the official forums, to no avail, I emailed Codies support, only to be told my wheel was unsupported. In fact, I have a CSW V1, which is absolutely supported, upon responding with this info, heard nothing further. Fantastic support.

Of course, no pedals are on the list, likely because they are all generic, HID compatible USB peripherals, and automatically supported.

In any case, I can map brake and clutch without issue, and I'm hoping I can override the in-game mapping by directly editing the controller file. Unfortunately, I'm not very Windows savvy, and haven't been able to find a controller.ini file.

If anyone familiar with GA's controller file might pass on its name and location, I'd be very grateful. Of course, any specific instructions re: setting the throttle to the X axis would be even better, but any help at all is greatly appreciated.

Sorry to hear that Peter, I was able to run some practice runs with NavyFlipper yesterday. and My fastest was only 1:30.35X. If you guys are hitting 1:29's I'm in trouble. It seems its pretty hard to hit consistent lap times there for some reason.

1:29's are not very often so I think you will be fine. Consistency is something I've managed to achieve in the offline sessions but that doesn't always transfer to online unfortunately :/

This is a lovely track one you get used to it and I've come to really enjoy the parts that were causing me problems initially.

Fingers crossed we get enough on the grid to keep the AI out of the frame ;)

Thanks for the races guys, sorry couldn't get involved in the banter just racing was a real struggle with this headache, toothache and stiff neck but was determined to get to the finish.

Well done to the winners but good job everyone on some really consistent racing. Had some good battles with Karl and Robert in the second race. Good battle with Robert in the first but couldn't quite get up to Michael to pressure him.

Video's up later

Nice job hanging in there. I don't blame you for turning us off. We were kind of chatty. Need to keep that down myself sometimes.
But man, what a couple of races. I only have the first recorded. Got away pretty clean, but knew I was in for a tough battle with so many fast guys behind me. Has the Champ, the Challenge King, Peter the resurgent beast, and Mr. Consistency back there for a few seconds. Kept a good pace. Since I had been practicing this track so much (it's just eminently raceable) I didn't need that many laps to get into a groove. Plus the corner cutting here is fairly forgiving. I think they go "old school" here and only count the end of the green areas (due to speed). That helped. (my after race practice at COTA was a shocker, as it's the opposite). Seemed as if Peter and Chris were in a good battle and Michael and Karl were dukeing it out, but Peter surged ahead, quickly caught me, and I thought, well, Chris was so far behind, there's no wa........WTF!!!! 5-7 laps and he's practically all over me. Those last few were intense, and I got it all on video, except the very last lap, but I think he got caught by the corner cut marshal at and I was saved.
The second race was a bit different as Peter and I traded laces a few times. I gave up the lead once because I felt like I exceeded the track limits on turn one after taking the inside line away (I don't think driving near the fans is allowed), but still kept pretty close, until mistakes just gt to me and Peter was really on fire.
Michael, you obviously are going to be real tough to beat in any sedan. Very nice job both races. Hope I can at least get near you in open wheel.
And Chris, I was amazed at how you just got stronger and stronger. I tend to do that too, but nowhere near to that degree. Or mistake free. Great second race. Good battles all around. Didn't even need to A.I. or miss them one bit, I felt. We were all pretty well matched.
Here is Race One:

I really don't mind all the chat it's good to hear what's going on for everyone but just couldn't get involved in it last night. Took all my concentration to block out the discomfort and just race. Great 40 laps though. This game just let's you get on with it and have so much fun

I'm totally not into another series that switches from car to car. I haven't the desire or the time to level up everything and all that sh!t. It's frustrating to have to drive around meaninglessly to level up only to have to do it all over again two weeks later. I'd love to be committed to the series we are currently trying to finish but i can't be because of the levelling up crap.

Problem is, everyone wants a different kind of series. Granted, the one car option is winning now, but two of those votes came from a driver not involved in the current series and a driver who has made two races.
I know it's frustrating, but I don't see how we get around it, especially since we could never agree on a single category, much less a single car.
But I have a semi-viable solution. To ease the burden, I think two races from each the open wheel category and GT class category will be on ovals (I can turn off the tuning option), and the other eight races would be limited to four cars. Two for open wheel and two for GT, instead of six, as we have now.
As far as the GT classes go, if those guys can agree on just a couple of cars, it would be great, but everyone may not want that. However, unless I hear back in a week, we will run a car from the Muscle group (picked by Michael) for three races and only one other car (either picked by the directors or a responder) for the other three races. As for the open wheel guys, I think we can agree on three cars total. That way, you would only have to level four cars in a 12 race schedule and you would have more time to do it if place the four oval races in between the non oval races.
