I found the Ford the far more tail happy car this this morning by quite some way.I picked the Holden because it appears to have better stats, but the Ford may not be as tail happy. Not sure. These cars will require tuning, but, IMHO, only springs are needed in full increments.
Really? I was getting to 6th pretty easily so not sure I would need much on gearing unless I removed som downforce.i dont know... the not american one....
edit - the holden lol
tuning is required to reach 6th gear, diff is def needed
hmmm... were you just getting into 6th? I did that a couple times, but it wasn't optimal.Really? I was getting to 6th pretty easily so not sure I would need much on gearing unless I removed som downforce.
hmm... maybe i'll have another go at it tonight with the default setting again.... maybe it was lack of track time with the car that made me go so slow at firstTuning I guess will provide an advantage but happy enough at the moment and not sure where I would make too many changes, probably stiffen up the suspension as I always do but other than that I’ll just have to see and make that decision based on what tuning level I can manage.
I only had 10 minutes in each car and the best time in the Holden was 1:34.14 but should have been 1:33.5 on the following lap without the interference from an AI at the start of sector 3.hmmm... were you just getting into 6th? I did that a couple times, but it wasn't optimal.
What were your lap times like Peter?
