My thoughts where you guys are visual wizards so if you are doing this it would blow all of us away and that will go over the 1-2-3% I am sure off that.


if you are offended come one man I was the first to buy rss content I am backing RSS content all the way.

Its not making the features Bob its having the time for research and development and managing the visuals of a team its something personally I do not always have the time to do,
I know in my mind how to make it work better than I made it before but its speculation,
like this tire mod changing the colors, same thing I was hhmmm yeah yeah and made it and its that simple,
but like I say its having the time to make these things happen I see more people wanting cars than more people wanting features most likely why Kunos made almost 200 cars and almost 20 tracks and almost 2 features same kind of thing, they know how to make stuff also but obviously the cars are more important.

But the Quality RSS is putting out there is the one thing people like me buy your mods right?
So if a mod is all ready freakin good and lift it that much higher with things none other have it would only lift it to a higher level??

when I drive formula 2018 top quality car in a full field of rss and the car in front of me spits sparks will make a big difference in immersion

If the gimmick annoys the creator I don’t expect it to have future here.
 
Tbf those sparks looked more annoying than immersive. And I'm not being biased. AC's engine is limited. Can't have dynamic visuals. So you'll be seeing the same pixels of sparks each time it sparks which is kinda meh.

Its too generic and random,
there is way to make it accurate but its really time consuming, but possible, but by the time I added sparks and make sparks on the brake discs and changeable colors on the tires and more pointless mods I could have made a complete brand new car from scratch and that is what I do make cars :)

Seriously stunning work as always can't wait to drive this thing. Words can't really express how good it looks:inlove:

As for the halo I'm with you it should be on.. it's a sim. Nice you have the option anyway. I don't imagine it's any more intrusive than that central fin/column thing where the shift light is on the (VRC) FW19.

The tire mod was too high to use publicly its just too high details specially with 7 sets was too much so we ended it :)
So my tire texture change windows app will still live on then :roflmao::roflmao: I may even update it so you can select per skin if I have the time and can figure how without a complete rewrite :p

I think those fake sparks are made by using flames, the old ones.. they look ugly and also the car.
and the sparks would come from the front side of the car, since with the rake they use, the rear would never be close to the ground, but correct me if I'm wrong

1st contact of the car would be front of the skid pan yes not the rear because of the rake.
 
It looks great! I have 4 cars in the works for the 2017, but I will transfer them all to the 2018 version. Maybe the BAR F1 2017 also. ;-)

Question regarding the HALO. How is it mapped? Is it one solid color or can we paint with a little more detail on the ugly thing? ;-)

Hi,
The Halo was just one solid piece of UV but after looking at the ferrari Halo I mapped it similar I love how they broke the thing in different parts makes it look really nice and stylish,
all the chassis paint is one scale UV meaning any flakes applied/carbon applied will be the same scale,
the Halo I had to make smaller on the actual map, makes no difference if its a solid color been applied but maybe adding carbon you will need extra custom carbon maps other than what will be provided,
but yes it has a good UV which will give good choice,
I could have made it its own map / texture but means more extra textures inside the actual .kn5 maybe another 3/4 maps and extra shaders so decided to place it all on the one UV but like I said it required scaling as the map is complex and also has the Halo off mesh there also :)
but looking at all the cars I see no issues with what I made.
