Just reinstalled AMS and solved the AA issues because I simply can't wait for driving with the halo. As strange as this sounds I really love when you can try new stuff from real life regardless their reputation.

I know this not everyones cup of T but the S duct on the car does work and the difference with it closed and open actually does show inside CFD and does produce much nicer results

The fact this car goes to the CFD extent is crazy!!!!! Is there a chance you can show us the difference in CFD of it?

I'm also extremely mad i'm stuck 10,000km away from my sim rig, so this is my main simracing enjoyment at the moment!

I am utterly amazed by the level of detail on this car. From front to back, it looks like it could very well be on the grid in Melbourne.

or maybe make all the real skins it is not the real car so that would give no legal issues?

It would most certainly cause legal issues. All the sponsors, and to an extent the designs (their recognizability) are protected by copyright laws as their owner's/creator's intellectual property.

There might be some well known racing colors, but i have trust in the RD community for creating replica liveries after the release. Sometimes you could be more creative without restrictions. And the real liveries are similar, due to readability of sponsors and the complex geometry of the cars. Renault vs Sauber. McLaren vs Ferrari. Just to mention a few. And most aeroparts will change regular, so no design elements there, like the uninspiring Williams livery.

Cant remember which game it was I believe AMS or R3E , they actually got the game removed from steam because there fictional F1 car had fictional liveries that resembled real life liveries to a certain extent, when you are talking about F1 and laws, its simply best to smile and walk away in the other direction fast, our car is fine its fictional breaks no laws, but these liveries are protected designs as you say.

I believe thats partly the plan to slightly emulate some base colors, but the designs and logos obviously all custom along with the car maybe at 150 meters away when the grid is a blur maybe you cant tell

Well we have a complete package of a standard car with 5x LOD completed with the option of the animated Halo inside the setup menu on or off,
and a S1 vesion with no animations for the Halo so a constant no Halo car with 5x LOD completed,
now awaiting final physics and audio DEV and of course liveries
but all 3D and textures are complete.
Now for me its onto RF2 DEV

Yet another quick question - will there be Formula 2 and GP3 equivalents from RSS as well? If yes, will they come with an optional Halo too?
