Well I just hit 330,000 triangles I think ill stop there there just too much quality :D
anyways I hope this extra layer of details and maps really does make the difference with you guys painting the liveries, should really help get that quality AAA crisp!
I will throw this map together now and bake a AO map for it so the logos once placed look right at home :)

are the hypersoft and superhard tyres included in this mod?
Hi this mod has gone sadly, the LOD of the car made is surplus to requirements,
would be fine for shows and events single players use, but adding it back to the car at this stage would make the build well over 360,000 triangles its too much sadly so we made a decision to drop it.

Just to clarify: you decided to drop the tires or the entire mod? Is this project cancelled?! I'm sleepy, am i already asleep and in a nightmare or is there a language barrier between us?

The tire mod was too high to use publicly its just too high details specially with 7 sets was too much so we ended it :)

How tire sets make 3d models heavier? I think, but i may not be right, that tyre compounds are only voices that modify car phisics. Is it a conseguence of the color-related compund switch feature?

I built a custom system to switch it controlled by 3ds max settings by using mesh.
 
1:17.1 at Catalunya with HS, those cars are not human. They're hitting 6.5G or even more at turn 9.
Cars are a bit quicker this year due to the repave of Catalunya also. its the only circuit where you will see this much of a difference from last year. Although i'm not discrediting the tires.

I think that in quali trim, with 100% power and 7-8kg of fuel, with those track/ext temp they can even break into the 1:16s.

In may, with different temps (air density, other sh*t) and evolved cars, they'll probably go around low 1:18 in Q3 with softs.
