I tend to prefer Peters idea as the thread has been up for the week. Changing it now would seem a bit last minute.
and I'm inclined to think that from the posts there are a few drivers who sound like they have been practicing pretty intensely now for Germany.
My vote is to choose a track for next week and maybe try something different like 75% distance. We save 20 mins w/out quali anyway.

Officials officiallymissing!

It has not goneun-noticed that in recent weeks very little has been seen of our Race Officials, namely Scott Webber, Andrew Bortz and Christian Schoeler.Where have they been? Well we can exclusively reveal what has kept each of them to busy to practice for this weekends race.

Scott Webber has so much going on right now, he'll tell you that he’s busy flying one of his personal planes, he owns at least 20. In reality he's busy flying by the seat of his pants as you'll discover in our Bizarre Love Triangle story later in this edition.

Andrew Bortz has been seen online but in shocking video footage we can reveal that he is racing against A.I. This is bound to have a detrimental effect on his race pace which has already been off the pace this season. Its also been reported that he may have been playing 'Battle Field:Bad Company2'. After being shown how to shoot he is now Rank 2 after 18 monthsof playing.

Christian Schoeler is reported to have gone back to his old favourite video game in an attempt to forget his dismal start to the season. It seems group 3's punching bag is back playing 'Hello Kitty' a game which he has almost mastered. Other sources claim that he has locked himself away in a dark room in fear of the spreadsheet monster which now lives under his bed. Our undercover webcams picked up what happend one night in the Schoeler house.

Go Go Juice in Red Bulltake over?

Bill Devery, owner and drinker of the dubious new 'energy' drink Go Go Juice, has reportedly entered into talks with the senior management of rivals Red Bull in what could only be described as a hostile take over bid. Bill had been seen drinking Go Go Juice before entering Red Bulls H.Q. In Austria. 10 Minutes later he was escorted from the building by security staff. Bill was heard to shout 'I'll have the lot of ya!'and 'I pwn you' which has lead to the speculation that a financial deal could be on the table. This has sent stock markets around the world into turmoil wondering how the small Australian company could possibly finance such a take over. Sales of Go Go Juice have not been good, the first production run of 10,000 litres has only resulted in 3, 1 litres bottle sales although reports suggest that only 75 litres are left. We asked Bill about the apparent disparity in stock levels. 'Get of my land ya pommy dirt digga!' along with a hail of insults which we didn't understand was his official responce.

Who put the 'Dirty' inDave?

This week has seen some'mud slinging' on the forums with allegation about drivers personal lives with most of the rumours being started by 'Dirty'Dave of group 4. We decided to ignore the real stories and instead dived into Dave’s Dirty past... Our look into the drivers background soon lead us to Father O’Leary, a catholic priest now living in exile within the walls of the Vatican. We were invited to a private interview with the Father were we were told about young David’s time as a choirboy at St. Ben Dover School for Very Naughty Boys. The Father went on to give us a message for Dirty Dave, 'Get your sweet cheeks back intomy Vestibule now boy!'. At this point our reporter made his excuses and left, very fast.

We uncovered this rare footage, Dave is the one singing.

Top 10 Most RidiculousRage Quits!

Since the start of this season we have had an unfortunate amount of drivers quit the league for both genuine and silly reasons. We took a look back at the figures and can now reveal the top 10 most ridiculous reasons why drivers have left us.

10 I keep hitting cars
9 You keep hitting me
8 I race in another league (There are no other leagues, we checked... kind of)
7 My wife wants to spend 'special' time together
6 My wheel hates me
5 I hate my wheel
4 My games room is an ice rink so everything slides about
3 The dog ate my monitor
2 I now only play Hello Kitty
1 I was exposed in eXhaust Fumes and can no longer go out in public

Silverstone Practice review.

Since our last race at Valencia the Race Department Race Club has been packed with races at Silverstone. Drivers of all levels have pitted their wits against this deceptively tricky but fast track, so busy has the activity been many drivers have not had a chance to practice at all. For those that have managed to get a ride vast improvements have been made by some while others have had serious issues with car set-ups. Its our opinion that this should lead to some interesting results come Saturday evening. A quick check shows us that this is the most practised track so far this season, a great tribute to the current layout of this famous racing track which will see even more changes before next seasons race.

L.S.L. A Bizarre LoveTriangle.

Due to the Super Injunction taken out by Scott Webber we are unable to print any more of the story about Louise Goodman, Scott Webber and Lee McKenzie in a three way tug of love that began in Valencia. Nor can we tell you about the possible Mormon wedding plans which would allow for more than one wife which Scott has inquired about. In our opinion it is wrong that the rich and powerful get to take out such legal protection against the press. Fortunately we're not going to tell our legal department about the injunction until after we publish.

Well that about wraps it up for this edition. Once again I remind you that eXhaust Fumes is only for fun, however if you've been offended in anyway by any of our stories please let me know by P.M so we can resolve the matter.

Good luck to everyone this weekend, I hope you all enjoy our race and the real thing!
And remember folks...

You can't win the race in the first bend...
But you can loose it.

OOPs the questions!

How have you and the team been practising for this race?

How will you cope with all of the mud which surrounds the track?

Silverstone is in the middle of some fields, what sleeping arrangments have you and your team made?

With England having such a varied range of weather in its summer what are you hoping for, rain or sun?

sorry i pulled out during the race, i got bit on theb akc of my leg a few days ago, and it was rubbing against my chair which caused it to become so itchy and i was irratated, man i had a good close battle with Speed Andras and joempie, great driving u2.

Thanks for the race guys! Congrats to the finishers! Sorry if I hit someone in the first lap coming back to the track. Tried a totally different setup which was better @ GP mod with RedBull. I had problems with it in the qualifying there I thought it was just the rain playing with me but no. As the race comed I felt I'm driving a different car that I used to during testing this setup. Back to testing! :)

WOW!!! That was the best race i've ever had!! :D

Q - was alright, went out on hards to do a couple warm up laps and then swapped to options and did my fastest time round brazil! 2nd so was glad about that!

R - Basic start, clean but mine was very slow, andric94 and i got away from the rest until i had a 5 second or so gap between the people which were behind me, andric was gone!!!! Slow down will you!!! Thanks. Thought it was going to be a crap race from there and it was until my pit. Did my pit lap 12 which i got a penalty for speeding in the pit lane. W ent for it first lap. Got stuck behind Lindblom -.- i was much faster than him but could not get past, so there were a couple bumps here and there but i eventually had to force my way through! Sorry lindblom but it was as clean as i could have made it. Then was in 3rd waiting for iam_game to pit (was wishing he did) a while later he did and we basically became side by side at the pit exit. I knew he was on the faster tire so i did everything i could to keep him behind. Did so quite well but again few bumps here and there. He soon got past and so i was giving it my all to keep up with him which i did by putting PBs after PBs. HE MADE A MISTAKE ON THE LAST LAP!!!!!! what are the chances!? got past and so again was defending for the last few corners! Thought he was going to make a dive up the inside on the last corner so i defended the inside but boy i was wrong, he took the line as normal and got a fantastic ride out of it went straight past me!!! What a gayboy!!! I caught him on his slip stream and basically finished up his arse, within 0.01 behind him.
If only that straight was a little longer hey!? :/

Q 3 - Was actually pretty happy with my Q lap, no big mistakes but compared to andric I lost almost a secont in S2... ;-)

R 5 - This race showed me why I don't like this track... Had 4 pretty big offs. Which lost me about 5 seconds each - and half my front wing ;-) Bad race for me. Had a nice little fight with iam_thegame in the beginning and that was basically it. Lonely race and instead of fighting and defending my position, I drove off the track most of the time instead of driving on the track.. ;-)
But I guess it can only get better next race!
Congratulations to andric, I'm amazed by his pace..! How do you do that? ;-)
