Happy for this news but why is this being done through Steam? A beta that is similar to the preview but more cars and tracks. I would think it better handled through their website like the TP.
I politely ask to Kunos let your fans buy this beta from you directly, perhaps as an extension to the TP for non steam users. I have no plans to install Steam and maybe most loud voices say it doesn't matter but this will impact many of your long time and loyal nKPro customers. I don't care for online multiplayer an option for an offline version only. Would gladly pay 35 euros for this.

It may have to do with the ease of using steam to get it out. Steam could help get them around what ever italian laws they were having issues with? A bit of a far shot but could be a reason.

Personally I can see a lot of benefits to the bi-weekly updates. That means that every two weeks we'll have something potentially significant and new to look forward to. We should - in theory - never get bored of the game, not for a while at least, because we won't be able to go mental, stay up for 8 nights straight playing everything to death, and then get fed up and set it aside. If there's a constant drip of new modes, features and content, then it'll stay fresh and exciting for longer. That's my view anyway. You young 'uns and your all-consuming need for instant gratification! :D

Not sure how this translates in Italian ;)

Imminent
Im·mi·nent

1. likely to occur at any moment; impending: Her death is imminent.
2. projecting or leaning forward; overhanging.

Etymology[edit]
From the present participle of Latin imminēre (“to overhang”), from mineō ("to project, overhang"), related to minae (English menace) and mons (English mount). Compare with eminent.

Adjective[edit]
imminent (comparative more imminent, superlative most imminent)

  1. about to happen, occur, or take place very soon, especially of something which won't last long.

Ladies and Gentleman, lets discuss content that will be available in the first published early version. I think that Aristotelis gave us a bit of information releasing pictures with AC logo and short description on his Facebook page. If I'm right we'll get:
1. BMW M3 E92
2. KTM X-Bow R
3. Lotus Exige Scura
4. Our well known Lotus Elise SC (I wonder... Will there be a big difference?)
5. BMW Z4 35is
6. Abarth 500 esseesse
7. ???
8. ???
9. ???
10. ???
11. ???

Marco posted Ferrari 458 on his Facebook page saying:
Ok Aristotelis Vasilakos, then it's war...
So maby we'll get 458 as well.

We know nothing about tracks available in the first build or am I wrong?
What do you think?

PS. My modem and $$$ are ready! :)

Latest rumour... welp nothing :speechless:

Rumour from where? no one knows when. From looking at the Steam DB files, almost everything has been updated in the last 2 hours so either tonight or tomorrow is probably right

OK Guys, Aristotelis answered my guestion about cars he posted on his facebook being in first build of AC. The answer is short and simple: Yes

The Ferrari 458 Italia takes the supercar concept and raises it to a whole new level. It’s not the staggering performance that the 458 delivers. It’s not the Ferrari aura that makes it seem better than it is, nor the elegant body styling. It’s not even the thunderous sound of the V8 engine screaming at the 9000 rpms limiter.
The most important thing is that while everybody was afraid that the impressive amount of electronics would worsen the driving feel, the Maranello engineers managed to hide some matrix cables in the bucket seats and plug them to your brain secretly, every time you drive the car. Otherwise it’s not possible to explain the amount of feedback that this car delivers to its driver.

This updated list of cars:

So 4 more cars and maybe we will get beta?

When it comes to tracks I would think Vallelunga is a good bet...

We need GT cars :D, maybe Z4 GT3, MP4-12 GT3 or I would personally love the P4/5...
