You're done. :)

You can proceed the same way for my other mods you found on step 4.
BASE MOD INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS (WINDOWS)
  1. Download PART1 and PART2 on your computer. Both parts are necessary.
  2. Right-click MM 2016 Mod 1.x.x.part1.rar and uncompress it.
  3. Part 2 will be uncompressed automatically. You should now have a folder MM_Data with the installer right next to it.
  4. Launch the installer and follow instructions.
If the installer does not work for you, simply copy/paste the MM_Data folder into your Motorsport Manager folder.
BASE MOD INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS (MAC) - Thanks to Mr Peugeot and Alon2o
    • Download PART1 and PART2. Both parts are necessary.
    • Create a folder anywhere and put both mod files in this new folder
    • Open Part_1 of the .rar file with an extractor (I use The Unarchiver but I’m assuming any upzip program will work)
    • Don’t worry about Part_2. The extractor will have included that without you seeing it.
    • You will get a folder called MM_Data.
    • Open finder
    • Command + Shift + G
    • Library / Application Support
    • Click on go
    • Steam
    • /Steamapp
    • /Common
    • /Motorsport Manager
    • Right click
    • View the contents of the package
    • Home
    • Resources
    • Data
    • Replace the resource.assets file with the one in the MM_Data you obtain in step 5.
    • Open StreamingAssets folder
    • (Download and in data)
    • Then replace only the Champ1.bk2 files
    • Champ2.bk2
    • Champ3.bk2
    • And replace the TeamIntroMovies folder

FAQ:
- After I installed the mod, the drivers, teams and staff are fake and all logos are original ones.
You didn't activate the mod "layer" on the Workshop. Please do so as stated above.
- My game crashes during or after launch / I get a black screen then nothing.
Make sure you run the last version of the game on steam.
Go to Steam then right click on Motorsport Manager>Properties>Local Files>Verify integrity of game cache. This will synchronize your game to server version which is always the last version available.

- I don't see the car liveries. Rest is working fine.
Liveries do not work in 2d Mode. Turn on 3d mode.
- How can I change logos/team names/... myself?
Download Unity Assets Bundle Extractor and open resources.assets with it. Extract textures or textassets with the "plugin" button on the left. Modify things and import file back using the same "plugin" button.
Logos are in logos1@1080. Practice and Quali Times are in simulationsettings.

:O You made an installer.

Do you have something that is importing all your files into the Users current Resource.asset. or is it just overwriting their asset with yours?
I wrote a code to backup users files and replace them with mine. So they don't have to find the folder as I read that many people find it too complicated. Also this way, people can go back to vanilla with just a click.
Next version includes 2017 grid?
No. I will make a 2017 grid when know the line-ups. Right now only 2/3 is confirmed.
Shouldn't be long though. As Werlhein to Sauber unlocked things a bit. Now we need to wait for Mercedes to confirm 2nd spot then all the rest will follow naturally I think. With Bottas heavily linked to them, that means an empty spot appears at Williams and so on. I think it's a matter of days.
Enzoli, I'd honestly make a donation to you because your work is absolutely incredible. And making an installer for the mod is above and beyond what many might expect. It's really bad that people are copying your work like that.

A question also, why did you put Mick Schumacher as Mercedes' reserve driver? I don't think he has any links with Mercedes officially.

Playing Football Manager over the years really does make you think of potential improvements for (hopefully) future editions. Like more staff members (like a lead mechanic, commercial head) and pre-contracts, which is something a lot of people have mentioned. With the filters, it's odd how there isn't a way to filter by series and by employment status. It's harsh to really compare it to FM but it's tough to not see these things. However, it's the first MM, Football Manager (or Championship Manager) wasn't anything like as detailed when it first started.
Thanks a lot for your feedback. I put Mick at Mercedes as some suggested it. Mercedes don't have a reserve driver and many said Mick was the most logical since he was often seen in their garage, he's one of the most promising german youngster that is not attached to a F1 team yet. Although I've read somewhere Ferrari is going to battle Mercedes for his services, Jean-Eric Vergne is officially the reserve there there at the moment.
very sad to hear that some people don't respect the job that you made and just stole it.ty again for your job Enzoli.i want to ask you if your next update will be for the game with Christmas beta patch or the previous version?
Next update will be for current version as I think the update is mandatory. Isn't it? I was first going to wait for final release but it's been almost 2 weeks now and although I see a lot of activity on their Steam Branches, There's still nothing to be seen. So I'll release this one and will probably release a new one in few days.
Since this update contains a lot of changes, it's a good way to have users feedback and correct things before final game update.

We do not support pirated software here at RD
Hi, I'm new. I have a problem with this mod and that of the real names, I download the 2 parts and I decompress them, it's that time winrar tells me that the file has a problem in the file playload and that something is missing, then I paste it in the corresponding folder And replace the '' resources '' file but then when the game starts the screen stays black or loads well but there is no change of names of the pilots and teams. I want to clarify that my version of Motorsport manager is pirate and I already download the patch 1.1 Please help.

Hey @enzoli, I wanted to come by and thank you for this amazing 2016 mod. Motorsport Manager is much more enoyable with your mod. Please continue the good work. As a former Pro Cycling Manager modder I know it is very frustrating to see people copying your work, but please don't let them stop you!

Keep it up, mate!

@enzoli It can be frustrating and disrespectful to know that some people don't give you credit for what you do. But look at the bright side, copying someone is the sincerest form of flattery as they say, it just goes to show that you are good enough that people want to be like you! So keep doing what you enjoy because people like me, love your work, keep it up!

Can I just ask why are there two parts top the download and how do I go about putting them both into the game? I am currently using a Mac and am unsure how to put the two files into the game.
Thanks
Mr. F

I'm guessing the whole resources.assets is too big (780Mb or smth) to upload, therefore this file is in two .rar files. Here's where some of you get mixed up - you don't need to put these two files anywhere, just have them in the same folder. Right click on one of them and select extract here (you do need an extraction program to do this), doing this extracts both of them and you get ONE FILE: resources.assets. This one file goes into your game folder>MM_data folder (for windows, not sure where it is on Mac), overwrite and you're set. Start playing and the changes will have taken effect.

@enzoli What are some of your notable works? :D
I don't understand your question.

Unrar the files and you should get only 1 file. Resources.assets. Put it in your MM_data folder.
On the first post of this thread you'll find the direction. Good luck.

Man, in 15 years of modding, I'd take the night to list them here.
I've been modding Football Manager a lot. Designing all sorts of gfx. I created the E2G logos back in the old days. They had quite a big success. And even had a website called FMGraphics.com I made lots of kits too over the years but I stopped modding FM few years ago since the game was not very interesting anymore to me.
Last game I modded was Grand Prix World. Was at the beginning of last year. I made a 2016 mod for it. You can find it on www.gpracegames.com
Pro Cycling Manager, FIFA Manager, Baseball and Football Mogul(got paid for designing 2 official skin in 2008), MLB among many others that I can remember. Mostly sport games but I did some other stuff too.
I had more time when I was younger than now with 2 young kids though.:roflmao:

The empty spot at Williams will be filled by a returning from retirement Felipe Massa who will be alongside Lance Stroll .

You're the man.

Are you going to start working on the 2017 grid and then complete it with the rest?

You know, it is not really that hard to mod these .txt files yourself. Sure you wouldn't have the correct team liveries, but you would have all the right drivers in right teams and even stats you want. Open up the drivers.txt file, copy the first line (explanation) and paste it into a new .txt file for reference and just start editing. I think the teams were numbered, but you can easily find them out in-game or as in my case, I'm sure you remember at least one driver in any team. Enzoli is entitled to a break from a month-long editing session, and he has said on numerous occasion that he will wait at least until all F1 teams have submitted official line-ups, I think he should wait for the first few races also, so we would have an idea about car performances of teams, too. Otherwise it would not represent real life and playing that mod would not be interesting after a few real races without further modding.
So in conclusion just be patient and wait, or just do it yourself if you don't care about reality of your simulation, in which case the liveries and car performances wouldn't matter anyways.
