You're done. :)

You can proceed the same way for my other mods you found on step 4.
BASE MOD INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS (WINDOWS)
  1. Download PART1 and PART2 on your computer. Both parts are necessary.
  2. Right-click MM 2016 Mod 1.x.x.part1.rar and uncompress it.
  3. Part 2 will be uncompressed automatically. You should now have a folder MM_Data with the installer right next to it.
  4. Launch the installer and follow instructions.
If the installer does not work for you, simply copy/paste the MM_Data folder into your Motorsport Manager folder.
BASE MOD INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS (MAC) - Thanks to Mr Peugeot and Alon2o
    • Download PART1 and PART2. Both parts are necessary.
    • Create a folder anywhere and put both mod files in this new folder
    • Open Part_1 of the .rar file with an extractor (I use The Unarchiver but I’m assuming any upzip program will work)
    • Don’t worry about Part_2. The extractor will have included that without you seeing it.
    • You will get a folder called MM_Data.
    • Open finder
    • Command + Shift + G
    • Library / Application Support
    • Click on go
    • Steam
    • /Steamapp
    • /Common
    • /Motorsport Manager
    • Right click
    • View the contents of the package
    • Home
    • Resources
    • Data
    • Replace the resource.assets file with the one in the MM_Data you obtain in step 5.
    • Open StreamingAssets folder
    • (Download and in data)
    • Then replace only the Champ1.bk2 files
    • Champ2.bk2
    • Champ3.bk2
    • And replace the TeamIntroMovies folder

FAQ:
- After I installed the mod, the drivers, teams and staff are fake and all logos are original ones.
You didn't activate the mod "layer" on the Workshop. Please do so as stated above.
- My game crashes during or after launch / I get a black screen then nothing.
Make sure you run the last version of the game on steam.
Go to Steam then right click on Motorsport Manager>Properties>Local Files>Verify integrity of game cache. This will synchronize your game to server version which is always the last version available.

- I don't see the car liveries. Rest is working fine.
Liveries do not work in 2d Mode. Turn on 3d mode.
- How can I change logos/team names/... myself?
Download Unity Assets Bundle Extractor and open resources.assets with it. Extract textures or textassets with the "plugin" button on the left. Modify things and import file back using the same "plugin" button.
Logos are in logos1@1080. Practice and Quali Times are in simulationsettings.

Another minor thing is the german gp. The layout and surroundings look a lot more like Nurburgring than Hockenheim. Nothing important tho, thanks for your hard work :)
Indeed. I wanted to be as close as possible to real F1 but since German GP won't be in 2017 then I guess it doesn't matter if we call it Nurbugring. Also, I'm thinking about deleting the A track of Austin which looks like Indianapolis and that I found really bad since it has nothing to do with F1. Cars are behaving completely unnaturally on this track. I'm htinking about replacing with one of the other combination. Will test it and see if it works.

I believe in Championships text asset has a editable start date. You can even alter the season length to have a longer/shorter preseason, which either bunches/spreads the races.
I looked at it but I see now mention of a year. There's a season start and stop but it looks like the weeks as start is at 11 and stop is at 48.
Don't see how I could skip the entire first season. :(

Oh you're right, it's not there. Thought it was....

Looking at the Assembly.dll, "Game Timer ---> gameStartDate : DateTime"
"public static DateTime gameStartDate = new DateTime(2016, 3, 1);"
With the 2016 easily modifyable in reflexi...

Really believe I have seen it in the assets too though. Can't remember where :S

You are right. Thanks for the feedback. I'll correct that later on. I will upload the videos pack separately so that people don't have to download it each time a new update is available.

I'll try it

I searched all text files in the assets for 2016 and couldn't find anything other than the contract start date for staff or drivers.
So it must be in the Assembly-CSharp only I Guess.

By the way, here I fixed a couple of names like Raïkkonen who's supposed to be written Räikkönen, or Pérez instead of Perez. Some details. I also added the pay driver trait to those who were supposed to have it like Haryanto, Stroll and Gutiérrez. I would appreciate if you could check it and consider putting it into the mod. Thank you again.
In fact I didn't remember that I added that trait to the pay drivers. You are right. Haryanto and Gutiérrez should have it too. Jorda isn't a paying driver in my mod though. And I also corrected some that I forget adding to other paying drivers. Thanks.

Hi great mod really enjoying it and thanks so much for making it. I downloaded the latest update which fixes Abu Dhabi and Bahrain being swapped around on the calendar but when I continued my game Abu Dhabi is still listed as the first race and Bahrain is last. I copied the MMData folder and put it in the MM folder. But it hasn't changed

No, Jordá shouldn't really be a pay driver. Not that I know. Stroll should have it, though.

The fix was to correct the name not appearing. Not the order. I didn't think about the order as I didn't think it matters, but I guess we could put Barhain in first place and Abu Dhabi at last. Races Order can be changed as we want.

Oh sorry I didn't realise it's been a while since I played the game I thought the Abu Dhabi track was raced at the end of the season in the game, but it's actually the first race of the season lol

Never thought about it but I will implement it in my next mod version to be the real race order. More realism then.
TheCed : It's in the Championships text asset. Really easy to edit. I'm almost done.
My next mod version will be for the final patch release. If it ever comes one day... :whistling:

I'm checking it right now but I don't really understand what those values mean. Do you mind sharing your text file once you're done?

So here it is the real race order. Crazy I never thought about it. But oh well, you'll have it soon in your game guys :

Will do the same for GP2 and GP3. Will be a bit more difficult as many real races in GP2/3 are not in the game.
