You're done. :)

You can proceed the same way for my other mods you found on step 4.
BASE MOD INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS (WINDOWS)
  1. Download PART1 and PART2 on your computer. Both parts are necessary.
  2. Right-click MM 2016 Mod 1.x.x.part1.rar and uncompress it.
  3. Part 2 will be uncompressed automatically. You should now have a folder MM_Data with the installer right next to it.
  4. Launch the installer and follow instructions.
If the installer does not work for you, simply copy/paste the MM_Data folder into your Motorsport Manager folder.
BASE MOD INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS (MAC) - Thanks to Mr Peugeot and Alon2o
    • Download PART1 and PART2. Both parts are necessary.
    • Create a folder anywhere and put both mod files in this new folder
    • Open Part_1 of the .rar file with an extractor (I use The Unarchiver but I’m assuming any upzip program will work)
    • Don’t worry about Part_2. The extractor will have included that without you seeing it.
    • You will get a folder called MM_Data.
    • Open finder
    • Command + Shift + G
    • Library / Application Support
    • Click on go
    • Steam
    • /Steamapp
    • /Common
    • /Motorsport Manager
    • Right click
    • View the contents of the package
    • Home
    • Resources
    • Data
    • Replace the resource.assets file with the one in the MM_Data you obtain in step 5.
    • Open StreamingAssets folder
    • (Download and in data)
    • Then replace only the Champ1.bk2 files
    • Champ2.bk2
    • Champ3.bk2
    • And replace the TeamIntroMovies folder

FAQ:
- After I installed the mod, the drivers, teams and staff are fake and all logos are original ones.
You didn't activate the mod "layer" on the Workshop. Please do so as stated above.
- My game crashes during or after launch / I get a black screen then nothing.
Make sure you run the last version of the game on steam.
Go to Steam then right click on Motorsport Manager>Properties>Local Files>Verify integrity of game cache. This will synchronize your game to server version which is always the last version available.

- I don't see the car liveries. Rest is working fine.
Liveries do not work in 2d Mode. Turn on 3d mode.
- How can I change logos/team names/... myself?
Download Unity Assets Bundle Extractor and open resources.assets with it. Extract textures or textassets with the "plugin" button on the left. Modify things and import file back using the same "plugin" button.
Logos are in logos1@1080. Practice and Quali Times are in simulationsettings.

I'm seriously thinking about stopping modding stuff for this game.
I had a dig at those german scums here but they won't admit they stole all my liveries and made slight modifications to them without asking or mentioning my name.
That and the italians reposting my mods without any mention or anything neither is getting me really frustrated.
I don't think it's fair.
I've been modding for 15 years now and never felt so much disrespect. It's the first time I see this.
I've never asked for anything and I always allowed people asking to use my stuff. It's not about recognition or fame, it's about respecting someone's work.
I'm pissed right now and I will delay my next release. Although I spent time again doing videos for all the teams and competitions. And I even started making videos for tracks. I really don't feel like sharing my stuff right now with this kind of people.
Sorry lads.

blatantly .... sad but understandable!

Sad to hear, but I can understand that you are offended by those people. I hope you make up your mind because there are still a lot of people loving your work and at least for me this is the only real mod for MM.

I think I'm just going to ignore them.
Sad really but oh well. If that makes them happy, they can take anything they want. I guess that's how things are done nowadays.

I really think people will like the new videos I made and the installer will be very handy. These are 2 things they cannot modify to claim as theirs. They will be able to simply copy it but then it will be evident.

I tried their mod in the desperation to play a 2017 mod and I have to say that it's weak. They still have fictional drivers and some stuff is in German. They're not dedicated as you are.

You shouldn't be affected by what these people do. Just do your thing, everybody knows RaceDepartment is the place to be when it comes to motorsport video games modding. Everybody knows your mod is the best there is out there.

Again, thank you for your dedication and the hard work you put on to provide us with those essential mods. I hope you won't delay your work just because a couple of guys don't have the balls to do something from scratch.

Keep it up, buddy.

I am creating graphical design in different areas myself for many years now. I would declare my work as not too shabby as I am very dedicated with painting. To put it in other words: I put a lot of time into my work hence I am a pedantic perfectionist when it comes to detail. So I can understand perfectly what it is like to see your own work suddenly pop up somewhere and someone you may not even know is declaring yours as his own creation.
I experienced it throughout school, university, job and my leisure time as well, as I did designs for former "friends" and their web presence. There are tons of people that disrespect your literary property.
But I have learned two things from it. One is to accept and understand that copying my work is a compliment.
The other thing is: I am implementing tiny little watermarks in my work which are not obvious at all, but which I can easily identify. It is something I do every time I finish a design which is going somwhere. It is like signing the painting after you finished it. That helps if you want to pin down a liar.
Anyway, Enzoli, I really hope you don´t get too upset with it even your work might have get stolen here or somewhere else. And consider this: Maybe those guys are right. Plus I know you won´t stop working on your project as you announced, because it is not finished in your mind. I know that exact feeling as well... ;)
I am downloading your 2016mod as I am typing this. I was modding heaps which I could find within the AssetBundleExtractor, but I still can´t find the files where to edit things like tires and changing the team colors is way to finnicky. And I want to play that game finally! :D
So chin up and have a good one.

Thanks for your feedback.
Indeed I decided to ignore them although few guys on their forums are starting to realize and one of them has asked PSD to check the truth. Not long before he finds out. The liveries are just identical. They used mine as a base and modify them slightly but poorly. That is what you call "my signature". We understand each other. I do that too in my mods for years now.
And I just identified little things I've left here and there that anyone using photoshop would detect. Little imperfection that only the creator can spot.
Although this drives me mad, as you said, I will go on as I actually have more fun modding than playing. In fact I probably played 10 hours so far but modded for 100-150 hours without exaggeration.

I just built things they won't be able to copy partially. I wrote an installer from scratch in VBS wrapped in an exe so that no one can get a hand on the original code. So if they want to use it, my name will always appear on installation screen.
And I created videos they won't be able to modify neither.

I will be releasing my next version very soon. I'd say tomorrow or thursday, so you might want to wait before starting your final career cuz this update contains a lot of positive changes I think.

Hey Enzoli,

Thank you very much for your contribution for the F1 Mod! Shame to hear what's been happening but I hope it doesn't turn you off from doing what you're doing! I'm very grateful for your efforts.

Below is today's video where I did a game giveaway to a lucky subscriber :)

p.s. Does anyone know how to adjust a saved game? I want to add change the rules to unban refueling, enjoy that part of the game.

Enzoli, I'd honestly make a donation to you because your work is absolutely incredible. And making an installer for the mod is above and beyond what many might expect. It's really bad that people are copying your work like that.

A question also, why did you put Mick Schumacher as Mercedes' reserve driver? I don't think he has any links with Mercedes officially.

Playing Football Manager over the years really does make you think of potential improvements for (hopefully) future editions. Like more staff members (like a lead mechanic, commercial head) and pre-contracts, which is something a lot of people have mentioned. With the filters, it's odd how there isn't a way to filter by series and by employment status. It's harsh to really compare it to FM but it's tough to not see these things. However, it's the first MM, Football Manager (or Championship Manager) wasn't anything like as detailed when it first started.

very sad to hear that some people don't respect the job that you made and just stole it.ty again for your job Enzoli.i want to ask you if your next update will be for the game with Christmas beta patch or the previous version?

Christmas beta patch? Is that working ok? I didn´t install that.... because it´s beta.

i test it and i think that it not worth to download it.But its just my personal opinion.Someone else can say that its ok.For me game version 1.1 with liveries pack plus enzoli mod 1.0.3 plus blue flag fix is far the best experience i took from this game until now
