Have to say it looks very good. Definetely one of the better 3rd party tracks out there and now it is getting even better.

Offer him a deal... Keep the release till after the event, and we will do Beta testing for him with the race.

No, please don't test a new track in a league event. Use the current version, at least we know it is working.

I think that track will be public in one or two days. People of Racerfactor tested it a few weeks ago, and all was o.k.
This last version has diferents layouts:

GRAND PRIX TRACK (F1 2013).
GRAND PRIX TRACK (F1 2012).
GRAND PRIX TRACK (6 hrs Bahrain).
ENDURANCE TRACK.
INNER TRACK.
OUTER TRACK.
PADDOCK TRACK

I have been testing diferents layouts this afternoon and some of them are really very interesting.

Although I do like the multiple layout, we do not make use for this event of that. It will be in the same layout as the pre-version that have been used for testing so far. Not going to introduce any other layout on such short notice.

Practice: On race day the servers will be open all day to practice
Briefing: 5 - 10 minutes starts 19:15 GMT (only for round1 it's MANDATORY all drivers come, new drivers are MANDATORY to come to the briefing at the first race they enter)
Qualification: 30 minutes starts at 19:30 GMT
Warmup 1: 5 minutes starts at 20:00 GMT
Race 1: 45 minutes starts at 20:05 GMT
Warmup 2: 15 minutes starts at 20:50 GMT
Race 2: 40 minutes starts at 21:05 GMT (Top 15 based on results from Race 1 will reverse grid positions).

In summertime the starting times will be set an hour earlier.

Before the race, there will be a MANDATORY briefing on Teamspeak. Each driver is obligated to be present there. Not being present during the briefing is reason for removal from the league.

It's also MANDATORY, when the briefing starts on teamspeak, that you have entered the server with the skin you are using for the race, and that you are in the garage and stay there.

This is to ensure that everyone his skin is uploaded and shared among each other. If someone leaves the garage, his skin doesn't get uploaded and shared with others, this only happends if people are in their garage.
Teamspeak agenda:

- You have read the league rules on RD.

- Qualy:
When you are on your outlap, or you have gone off track, you don’t hold up a guy who is on a fast lap. If this does happend please send in a rapport, and the guy holding up will get a penalty for the next race.

- Start of the race:
Im taking extra notice of people making unnescesarry risk at the start. Make sure not to hit eachother, the race is long. The race will have a formation lap, and a standing start.

- Blue Flags:
Guy overtaking takes initiative, guy getting blue flag needs to get out of the way as soon as reasonably possible. Guy overtaking also need to have respect for the guy getting blue flag. Take extra room to overtake.

- Overtaking in general:
want to see respect.

- Stay on the server after race 1, for reversed grid

Is this the sneak test we were talking about, or has the track had a full, official release? As if it's the latter, and it has no immediate problems, I think the choice is obvious myself.

No, it has an official release, and is tested in an official event, and by BETA testers. This is not just a leap in the dark.

But, I do respect it if people have gotten used to the other version, and do not want to change for now. Can imagine little differences like position of choosen brake markers can vary a bit, which makes it hard.

When I checked the track today (f1 2013 layout) for the first time and checked it with a car I drove on it just a couple of days ago on the old version, there were exactly zero differences in driving it. Only difference is that all the sorroundings ect. look better.

Also on the old version there was a bug with the new automation HDR-profile which seems to be fixed for the new version.

So let's use the new version please

The VWEC version is exactly the same. However, that one was a preliminary release of the track. A lot of the surroundings where not done / updated yet.

The track layout itself should be 100% the same. The surface COULD be changed, but I have to check on that.

When I drove it myself, I had the same conclusion as Dino. It's just surroundings that have changed. So, I would suggest using this one as well.

When no substantial objections are made, I will set up the server in the coming days

.

I have not tried it, but if it is the same, but just looking better, I am fine with it.

I have already done 1 hour of testing, which is more than for the last two rounds together. I know the track very well, so I will try to give Dino and Matt a run for their money this weekend. I hope I can get another hour of track time before Sunday

Oh thanks for that. I had in mind, that it was all two weeks. Time between the races felt shorter than 3 weeks.
That is sh*t I might cant make that one
