Racing club changes announcement
as you all know we've asked you about making some changes to the Tuesday night racing club event and here what are those changes.
Starting next week ( March 8th week ) the Tuesday night event will be held on Wednesday night at the same time was the Tuesday event. i know that the most votes went to use all the classses but we think that we should start by using just a few of them, they will be the WTCC 07 & 06 ( at the same time ), WTCC 87, the mini's and the production class ( one or all the model at the same time ). in a few months we might revalute the situation and go for all the classes.
some have suggested that we use the same track on Sunday and Wednesday, we have the feeling that it will be hard to find tracks that will suit both events as some car on some track are either too boring or too challenging so both event will run the track of the choice of the staff that organize it ( still feel free to make request tho :wink2: ).

Yves, did you consider running some similar style races but using the full S2000 selection ie. WTCC 06, WTCC 07, STCC). Subject to most people having STCC which I think they have.
It adds a nice mix of similar cars, adds some additional variety, and they are all similar in performance? Even just an occasional event??
Just a note.............not all of us have STCC at this time.
Guys you should take a look at this event. I wish I could make it. It sounds like a total blast!!

I'd highly recommend it, very cheap download via Steam. Also, we have some great STCC Events for the US and Au Group every Friday night.
i will add to that the Camaro is worth for getting STCC:dance2::rotfl:

Yep, no worries Eric - I understood what you meant. As far as which to choose, bang for buck would have to rFactor hands down due to the wealth of content available (although I haven't even received my copy yet, I feel confident in saying this based on overwhelming public opinion). However, I have to say that the weekly US/AU STCC events that we've had on Friday nights has been some of the best online racing I've ever been a part of.
So in short, my advice would be to search ebay/interwebs for a similar deal on rFactor (I've seen for ~15 quite a bit on ebay) and pick up STCC as well for the combined cost of the MSRP of rFactor

I was trying to hide my overload of sim racing games from mrs. hotshoe as I will inevitably disappear into the black hole void more often w/ the Rd group if I get both.:behindsofa:

Ah the Legends mod looks like too much fun...
Doesnt it require to also own GTL? (reading the readme?)
