I did read instrcutions and i read in discussion that there is database file specified for 50% duration races and shorter, and the second version made for 100% duration races.

There's no more scaled tyre wear because it just doesn't work. So now there's just 1 database to use - you can choose whatever distance race you want in game.

Before there were databases for 50% and under races, and 100% and under races. That's gone away now as I said.
 
I have a question snthennumbers, I tested Your amazing mod v4.0 you are a legend :) but I can't reach realistic top speeds without using KERS and DRS like in this video

for example like in the video in australia on the main straight of the track, I reach 282 km/h but in the video kimi reach 297 km/h,Can you fix that please?

The damage is a little bit too big. Fronthitting the wall with 50 kph is enough to loose your wing and both wheels (that's what just happend to me.) I tried lowering a bit the values of loose_parts_setting.xml but it doesn't seem to change anything for me.


Also, there is a problem with completing drs test at Malysia GP during practice because of drs mod enabling drs only at 2 drs areas just like in race, where you are told to use it for at least ~45% time of the track to get an ugprade. Do you know how to fix it or should i report it to creator of drs mod?

edit2: Deleting HRT caused that only 15 drivers qualifies to q2 and 8 drivers qualifies to q3. Is it intented in this 2013 mod or something went wrong while i was installing it?
 
1.) if it's too hard for you, look for realistic damage mod: there are several levels of damage - if it's still too hard for you, use the game's default loose_part and decals

2.) report it to the DRS mod creator, but I have doubts he will be able to fix it soon, it's hard enough to get DRS zones working on common like you want, not speaking of specific sessions. Put game's default triggers.xml for that Grand Prix into your game for that session to pass the test, then place back the modified version.

3.) known issue, can't be resolved
 
He didn't change the AI files in 4.0 ... hm, I have no such crashes between cars as you describe.

Wow, what an update! I'm excited to try your CTFs myself. Forgive me, as I'm not fully up to date on your changes — have you adjusted the gearing? What about (my favorite part of my original CTF updates) the "grip_front" and "grip_rear"? Specifically the balance between the two.

On a related note, I'm back from the dead. I'd love to work with you on this if you need any more help, especially with the CTFs. I'm absolutely thrilled you took the next step with my original files, and believe me I take no offense to your "generalization" comment, LOL!

Can't wait to get home, get the wife and baby to bed, and check these out myself…
