Show us your Rig / Cockpit

Ahhh, very creative. I'm picking up another TH8 shortly to complement the one I already have which is setup for sequential to replace my G27 H-Pattern. Might have to look at this as an option, too.
Yes, the TH8RS is used for a handbrake...I have this one set up in Sequential and it works ok for games that support it...great in 'Dirt Rally' and 'Automobilista Rally Cross', but it can be a little abrupt though so you only need to pull it back only slightly.
Inside sim Racing has a video out showing you how to set up the TH8 Shifter in H-Pattern to use as a Handbrake, might be worth a look as well...

Yes i still have both (coverted for the AccuForce)

Both rims are nearly identical in diameter somewhere around 272-275mm. The Formula rim is a bit smaller (1-2mm max).

It hard to measure is exactly on the mm since it round shape. I doubt you will notice the difference :D
Those measurements are good enough. Thanks! :)

P.S. Fanatec should really change their 260 mm marketing for the Formula rim. It's partly the reason why I didn't buy one as that seems extremely small.

Not mine, but not sure i have seen this cockpit on here (apols if i missed it). Pretty awesome stuff and kudos to the guy who created it. Hope he is OK with this link being posted here (and hope it doesnt break any forum rules) -

WAY too much checkerboard, and the Blue dash LED's looks a little overkill That would be UBER distracting while racing.

5.1 setup is rather goofy as well. Overall not really impressed.

I never get tired of saying it again and again. There is no cockpit like yours @adolfonc . Driving there, it must be like being in heaven. A companion greeting.

Use the translator. (ponte el traductor, aunque con la belleza de cockpit la gente ni se da cuenta xD)

To each his own. VR is nice. But you can't deny this looks great!

I agree, I have a DK2, that I somewhat used, however I recently picked up a new 32" ultra-wide monitor for my gaming/workstation and moved my old 24" triple monitor setup to my racing rig and I find that to be a pretty cool experience and prefer it over the DK2 any day. I actually enjoy them more than the single 32" TV I was racing on it previously.

Hi All,

There are some amazing and inspirational setups many of you have on here! Thought I would share mine as I am quite proud :/

Just finished her today after 4 solid weekends getting it all done. I live in a townhouse so wanted it to be in the living area but need to be able to hide it away so put an Obutto R3volution on lockable heavy duty castors, added a floor and completely setup cabling underneath so it hooks straight up to cabling under the desk with just 2 cables, power and USB3.

Takes me about 2 mins including cables to switch between the 2 setups and have the rig stored neatly under the stairs.

When it's not a sim setup it's just for gaming, movies and music, great when the nieces and nephews come round with the headphones for them :). Making a little gaming mouse desk next weekend so I can play GTA5, BF4 and Battlefront every so often.

Next designing the 5.1 surround sound to hide amongst it all :)

Joel

Wow amazing setup you got! You have a build log by chance? Be really interested to adapt a few things to my rig

Hello guys

I wanted to share a new rig discovery I recently purchased. For now I will upload just this photo of the assembled main rig structure. I ordered the triple display stand as well, however I wanted it to be separate from the main rig to avoid shakiness. The guys at Simetik were kind enough to send me a prototype they are developing, I agreed not to share any pictures or detailed information until the stand is released.

Simetik's service was great and punctual. All the packaging was also great, the instructions are clear and simple with step by step, tools and lettered/bagged matching hardware for each build phase. Nothing arrived damaged in any way. See the attached picture (the rig comes w/o a seat), let me know if you have any questions, but keep in mind I will be traveling for several weeks, so be patient. All I can say for now is that this rig is built like a tank and highly adjustable. I live in the US, EU taxes did not apply, the 3 day DHL (it shipped Tuesday, I got them Thursday afternoon) shipping was approximately $130 for the 2 large boxes. Cheers!
