Just make sure you have the ability to turn Down the Volume on the rears if you decide to mount them so close to your ears. Kinda breaks the 5.1 immersion if your hearing the rears too much.
see my most recent post I cut a bit of timer then zip-tied it to the back of the head rest and screwed my speakers into it

My rig based on an old MDF rig that I picked up. Fair bit of modification and tweaking and finishing in my fav car colours. Home built hydraulic pedals and modified DFGT wheel. Biggest issue is lack of space, Mrs doesnt really see it as living room furniture
