Thanks Remik
Cheers for the mod shots and message. I've actually had that Noctua fan in my amazon basket for the last week but apart from being mad busy I've been looking for an adapter for the cable to match the 2 pin on the T500rs after one of the guys on the GT Planet forum said you needed one. Is it necessary to have it? Cheers man. This is another good tip for T500RS users
Small cooling upgradedone just over a year ago.
.. and still working VERY WELL
I have T500RS v5 ver and when I open the base...
i decide to change genuine cooling fan
I saw some people advice Akasa fan 60 x 60 x 20 on gtplanet
but I prefer my own choice 5mm bigger and better quality as well
I used Noctua fan which is TOP quality product
and cost £10.99 only !!!
NOCTUA NF-A6x25 - 60 x 60 x 25
... 3M double tape for installation...
Looks genuine !!! and U can close top cover as well
result ??? lower temperatureand total silence
... simple ventilation upgrade
and on the end better grip.
Thrustmaster base still looks like genuine unit
... nice and clean modification
ps. all this T500RS mods are my creation Hope U like it

Can i use Sugru to fill it?
What is your camera adapter ? How much cost?
Tanks a lot!I dont see any reason why you couldn't use Sugru on it. I had the pads handy and they were cheap so I went with that. The adapter came with a magic arm to mount a camera which I am mounting to my Aeron chair to do some videos. The ebay listing I got it from is here.

Its the circular ring in the middle of the 5 in the pics. The other 2 to the right are too small to fit. Sorry if thats not very clear. I'm thick when it comes to the naming of camera hardware. I reckon they shouldn't cost more than a couple of euro if bought individually.
Wow all these rigs are blowing my mind.
@Jeremy Roberts : Love what you've done. The level of craftsmanship is astounding. I thought your R-pod rig was a bought product. Really great design well done.
Metal with a carbon look layer on top.nice!
it looks nicer than my standard one
is the wheel face metal or carbon?
Yes it is, pretty expensive for a carbon sticker and a buttonguard so if you have the old one, don't bother switchingMetal with a carbon look layer on top.
