To me it is a hard rule. Simply don't cross the line. If you find someone crossing it, regardless of the absence of imminent dangers, an incident report will lead to a penalty.

There are tracks were the rule is hard to maintain, like Zandvoort where the line never ends, but those tracks are a miniscule minority.

So, do not cross the line. :good:

Not in every motorsport. For example, in F1 and A1GP, you are penalised for crossing the line.

F1 hasn't been a sport for a good 20 years and A1GP is a recent TV invention... just shows for the masses, hardily true motorsports :D

Ok, not only “time is on your side”, but also “you win”.
I'm an old “elitist”, "one of the few" that understands that many technical regalements are in place to favor certain sponsors/brands and above all a "romantic full" who thinks motorsports is still “played” mostly by intelligent and gentlemen racers :wink2:

As for what matters (the line thing and our event/RD rules), I'm all for the saying: "do not create a problem where there isn't one..." (yet) :D

Pfff, that's going to be a long list....
Maybe just a reminder(warning) before the race to all the drivers would be enough.
Like i said earlier,i'm not looking to get people penalized i just want fair and equal race (rule wise) for everybody.:rules:

Neil... while we wait, I think you are the right person to ask this:
What are the differences between the cars within the extreme class? I suspect of wheel distance (front to back) and diffuser size... thanks in advance.
Btw, don't answer in hurry before the race... just think about it when you have the time :wink2:

I never do it and I can't say I've noticed many cars do it in Div2. I assumed that we'd be following that rule anyway as I don't even cross it in offline races.

It would be dangerous to cross that line at Estoril so hopefully everyone will be careful coming out of the pits.
