:) I don't know why but I like the flyer even more than usual... :D
It is interesting that although I do know the circuit with my eyes closed in real live, I've done very few races here with RD (1 WTCC/STCCC doube race)...

The track is a typical "driver’s track" (as opposite of a spectator’s one), is narrow for nowadays "standards" as a few “traps” but nevertheless there are 4 overtaking points, 2 of them excellent... The old version, without the very slow F1 chicane (the "variante") would be more to the liking of everyone as a fast (4th gear) slightly banked right hander was in its place (Btw, I don't know of any conversion of it for Race/Evo).

Division 1 has been very balanced so far; in my view there are about 3 groups of “race paces” in it and one can easily jump from 3rd to 10th (and vice-versa) without much effort or "wrong doing". In the end we all hope for a fun and entertaining race :wink2:

Just for a small inspiration, for those (very few) who haven't seen it yet, once again here stays the link (about 1.50 min) [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lg3u-ts6YKQ[/ame]

Will remove the link near the event day

Estoril 88,was hoping it would be that version at the beginning of the season but unfortunatly its not.:mad-tongue:
Still looking forward to this one though:woot2:

Just a question:
Why do people cut on pitlane excit and dont get at least a warning for that?
I do my best to stay on the wright side of the white line and others dont.
It clearly says in the rules that it's not allowed.

On exiting the pitlane drivers may not cross the chalk line that extends the pitwall, even though they are already on the track. This is to prevent crashes between people on the track and people exiting the pitlane.

I've seen it every race so far and i was just wondering why its not picked up by the racing staff.
Don't get me wrong ,i'm not trying to get people penelized but if it's allowed please say so and i can get back on the racingline faster and therefore loose a bit less time also:question::thanks:

Although the rules are typed like that, in real live inside that line it is also racetrack. The pit-exit line is "just" a "priority" line.
Meaning: Inside the line the car exiting the pits has precedence, outside the line the car already on track has precedence.

So, a car on track (not exiting the pits) may cross the pit exit line, it just looses “priority” to the car exiting. The same applies to a car exiting the pits... the car can cross the line earlier; it just loses the “priority” to the car on track.
There are certain circuits with specific rules regarding this pit exit line... usually it involves tracks where there is a blind exit to the pits, a circumstance becoming rarer in nowadays circuits.

When the line finishes, regular track safety rules apply again… obviously, “quick blocking” and the like aren’t allowed.

Basicaly what this means, using the next event track as an exemple, is that I can come out of Estoril's pit and go over the line... if no one is comming or I don't make him change his race line/speed. The same situation applies to the rarer situation (in Estoril) of one doing the 1st/2nd turn and after a bit of oversteer go over the pit exit line. We can… if no one is exiting the pits there on that moment :wink2:

The RD kind of "blunt" rule is like that I suspect for simplicity proposes. Couple together with what Yoeri just typed above it will in the end give the same result than in real live (people will only complain when a blocking inside/outside the line happens).
