Bram, I had about the same problem, I was opening a can of red bull for 3 laps with one hand.... very difficult....

Quali: P11 or 12? Was very very bad, because I did a 1.34.1 which I did with 70 litres too.... not enough practise on low fuel I gues...

Race: P7 in the end. Well done to Van Bommel, Yoeri, Christopher and Mikael, was really great racing, very close, but I think noone hit eachother. And big respect to van Bommel, well done for holding us behind the whole race ;)
2 mistakes by me or I could've been closer to the pack P3-P6...

Also thanks to the slower people, I had no problems lapping anyone, well done!

And I hope for the time to change to GMT+1 soon, because I noticed the last hour I got a bit tired, and reaction was a bit slower and a bit of a blurry vision... ;)

At least I finished it...

Lost the 10th position in the last lap. Didn't realize that I was 3 laps behind and entered the pits to a splash and go. Got the checkered in the pits. lol

I messed up with some white BMW when he was lapping me and want to excuse... My bad!

Wow! That was intense!

Though my Q lap was quite good, until I started dropping way down to 14th. Ah well. Took a bit to get settled into the race and began pushing on, passed a few guys who had spun off, passed another into T1 and then had to fight hard to hold him off until his tyres went off.

Jari was right behind me and we were both gaining on the train ahead which had Yoeri at the back of it, then Yoeri spun! I went to the inside expecting his car to spin to the outside, but it didn't and we met head-on. Yari had been expecting to follow me through and went into the back of me. Bummer.

Into the pits to attempt some fast repairs and we were off again. The car wasn't really the same, it was really slow mid-corner and Mehmet and Yoeri caught and passed me (not without a fight though hehe ) and my team-mate slipped passed too. Now down to 13th and had to settle for bringing it home.

Good first race though, enjoyed that :D

Shower time!
Quali - 11th, which was amazing for me.

Race - Had a pretty good race staying between 8th and 12th depending on pits and peoples little brain farts. lol. My last pit, I got caught speeding and had to do a stop and go. Was tooling around in 11th figuring that was where I'd finish because Jefferson was about 20 sec. ahead of me. I guess he pitted just when the race finished and I ended up 10th. Go Longshot Racing! Scott finished 15th so, after last races debacle we had a good showing!

Nice racing by all. Looking forward to next race!

Quick summery: 2 contacts..2 times off...P6 to P23 and after brilliant fights..more then I could handle back to P9 lol :peace2:

Summery:

Lap 1 turn 1 Aponte got to the inside wee bit to much and slight touch send me off. Wasn't nuff room as he wanted to take his line for next corner. He was slightly ahead of me so mye **** happens lol :D
Back to pos 23 ...got back to p19 or sumtin and then neil went wide I got beside him and same as before not nuff room he took bit to much track and off I went again lol :D Again...**** happens I guess shame the race for points was done for so quickly :damnit:and to make matters worse suspension dmg which I didnt bother to fix during race hehe.

Anyway I didn't have much practice at all, had some dodgy quick setup was absolutely nackered before the start and totalled now after as you can guess so all in all can't complain. Didn't have pace :snail:for podium but defo for more points then I got in the end. Nice work on top though good effort there seeing them laptimes. Didn't get passed a 1.34.7 myself in race lol.

Enjoyed the race nevertheless had some wicked catching up done and ended with a big fight with Yoeri probably 2/3 of the race lol...few mistakes over from both but got the better end of the stick at the finish :D :thanks: Was intense and defo more then my brains could cope with tonight.
Hell just before the race I went for a smoke and tried lighting it by holding it under the watertap whilst in my mouth...didn't work btw :D Another above the gasstove worked though :silly:

Cheers...now sleep buzzer goes 05:00 for work again...how the hell will I cope

ROFL Smoking kills eh
:plus1:

And suck for the freeze....been there done that ;) Any program updating causes it..hell a contact adding you on msn foks you over as well. I turn all off for evo :D while for rfacotr doesnt give ****..

Tough luck Bram !

And here we are again. Lap 28: complete freeze !!!

Trained good, qualy went awesome (P3 & PB) and the first laps of the race i was cruising behind Marcin. So far so good!

Smoking kills they say? TRUE!!! Lighted a cigarette on the straight, and all you guys that are smokers, don't laugh as it happened to you in the past as well.!!

I was taking a deep inhale, wanted to put the cigarette back in the ashtray and it kept sticking on my damn lips lol!! Burned my hand and the burning spliff fell on my chair!! (i forgot to mention that i already reached T1) and i dove into the gravel trap where ofcourse my engine stalled and i lost like 15 positions before i had it running again.

Had a huge fight with Mehmet Arslan and after a great pitstop i was up to speed again on my way to P9!

And then the freeze came :(

  • Frank Herfjord

Garcia was spun out in t3 and I hit him head on. The result was a puncture, missing splitter and ruined suspension. When I finally made it back to the pits, I managed to get a stop&go penalty. And then I messed up the "postpone" function so that I was in the pits three times the first four laps. So you might say that my race was somewhat compromised. But I can't blame anyone. I messed up my qual and started 20th. When you start this far back there's a high risk of accidents, so I should have been more careful.

Still, 14th isn't too far from my goal of a top 10 finish. At least I got two points.

What a race...pfffff,sweat was poring off my back!!
Qually 10th, not to bad.Finished 5th,but what a exciting race.I was really driving my ass off just trying to hold on to the guys in front and at the same time keeping the other guys behind me.
Really enjoyed it,this one i really like to watch in replay :)

That was my first ever race with these cars and I really enjoyed it, even though I was way off the pace and stuck at the back. After getting used to the blue flags and few other teething problems I finally settled down into a rythmn that I could handle. :woot2:

Hope I didn't get in anyones road when letting you by with the blue flags.

Thanks to Glenn for giving me the chance to race tonight.

Qualifying: 5th. Again, very happy with my efforts.

Race: I got the usual good start, and tried catching up to the top 4, but they were just too fast. I had awesome battles with Dan and Mtommi all through the race. The most LOL-worthy moment of my event was when Dan and I came together at the beginning of lap 27 (not counting the formation lap). I over-corrected into turn 2, and spun around to find Dan spinning in the opposite direction. The fronts of our cars contacted, and we sat for a few seconds bewildered as Mtommi went sailing past. :p
Overall, thanks to a few retirements in front of me, I managed to crawl back up to 5th and stayed there till the end. Grats to Ben, and Yay for Bob, who finished 8th, giving the Rockets a great points haul.

This was a perfect pick-me-up after the epic disappointment that was Zhuhai. I'll be aiming just as high for Oschersleben... :D

Really strange race for me... no practice at all as I was on travel all week.

QUALY: DQ, mi mistake though.

RACE: As I started last, I tried to do something different with strategy starting with less fuel, and it payed out, before my first stop I was in 10th, but then, and still don't understand why, the game never changed my front tyres so I had to complete all the race with one set, never changed in the 3 pitstops even when I set them to do it. Because this, I was slower than I spected in the last 2/3 of the race, but still managed to be 12th that to be honest is the position that more or less corresponds to my personal best laptime so I have to be happy.

Grats to the winners, looking forward for the next :)

Thanks to Glenn for giving me the chance to race tonight.

You did good Scott:good:.

Actually big thumbs up to everyone getting the Blue flags. Once again lots of respect shown on the track. Only worry while lapping was one car that was very laggy the first time I lapped it. Andrew spun as I was about to pass him and his car was jumping all over the place and I tapped the back of him as he came across the front of me. Fortunately we didn't go off and he let me by soon after. Lost a few seconds to Ben, but he was consistantly quicker than me all the way:).

Quick summary of my race:

Qual in 2nd 0.070sec behind Ben with a PB lap.

Good start, but Ben got away much quicker and I had to defend from Johan for the first couple of laps. Then got a few seconds ahead and concentrated on keeping up with Ben. Though I could match him some laps he was too quick and after the 2nd stop he had about 13 seconds on me.

Michel also kept my race interesting by staying firmly within sight of me at around 10-12 seconds virtually the whole race again. There is no room for mistakes in this league and I'll be happy if I can keep this level of concentration going for the remaining races:good:.

So well done to Ben for his win and Michel for keeping me on my toes again.

Very happy with 2nd place today as my goal was a solid points finish.

Roll on the next race at Oschers. That track will be very interesting in these cars:).

lol not that bad with only some time to practice in this busy week :)

Well I must say that this track I have a love hate relationship
I always start bad and kind find rythem, then at the end I'm really really fast...but this time I took a big risk lol

Practice started with me trying to feel the car again, as I'm not used to drive these cars. So I was mostly driving with full fuel on board and trying to feel it.

Quali started and I made some mistaked while going for a pb.....actually did a pb but couple of things hindered me.....like my emergency weight dump that lead to some mistakes lol
P7

Race
It started nice and I was behind Ries. I saw a whole as we went into the chicane (because many slowed to much entering it) and took a risk to align next to Ries. The next I know I think I punted Ries so I was not sure. I wanted to accelerate but guilty feeling let me back off.....so lost there from P5 back to P9/10
poop happens...sorry for that Ries :)
Oh well back on fighting and what a battle. I tried to get close and put pressure, but not to close I was afraid of hitting the ones in front of me (especially with the guilty feeling lol :)). I waited and saw first Yoeri making a mistake in the chicane, so I passed him. Then Ben made a mistake in the long right hand, that to went passed and next lap it was Mikael in the T4 (right hand after the long right hand). That way one by one I passed them. Then Martijn was in front of me.
I tried to find a whole but did not get close enough. That also led to the guys behind catching me. I could not pass Martijn for nothing and trying to keep a gap from Ben behind me. This went one for at least 8 laps, that is until Martijn went into the pit. From there I knew I had to push.
I did that and create a good gap enough from Ben and went in pit on the next lap. 4 tires and fuel and went back on track.......Just enough in front of Martijn lol :) (P5)

Up to the next position....I caught up to João. Passed him as he made a mistake on the final turn, then I tried to close the gap to Andreas for P3.
But disaster struck me lol..
I went to wide or to fast exit of the final turn, used to much of the curbs which sent my car to the wall.....lost my splitter and damage to the suspension. I had to drive 1 whole lap like that...shoot...
Went directly for my final pit, fixed everything but lost tons of position during the driving and fixing...so back to P9....I had to battle to get P8, but made some mistakes that I could never catch to Ben in P7 lol.....
so finished P8....final car on lead lap lol

Grats to Peter for the win.....maybe with some luck we could have made it a 1-2-3- lol :)
and grats to everyone that I had a really tight battle during for sure 2/3 of my race lol

Oh my god this went so wrong. :(

Qualification:
Fearful of making a mistake, i drove way to calm and achieved only a low 35s.

Race:
Due to a logitech driver update the clutch wasn't mapped anymore, so I jump forward when I plug the gear in. Jumpstart and stop an go penalty, I was so angry with myself and the thin patience was gone.
I was accelerating in turn 3 to close the gap with Mark Guy to the rest of the field and completely misjudge his pace. My dumb move send Mark of the track and right in the wall, he lost his front splitter and gave up shortly after his pitstop.
I am so sorry Mark, don't know what to say! :handshake::embarrassed:

The rest of this race I was trying to make some ground on the front runners in the next laps and had some close, enjoyable fights with Neil Gault. The costly ~45 seconds for my idiocy in the first lap were far too much, to get undeservedly in the point ranks at the end.

Grats to the podium and my team boss Joao with his impressive 4th place.

salute

Doesnt come back with me here, i have let it running for over 2 minutes so my race was already wasted (as usual)

I have this 9/10! Bough a complete new pc and it still keeps freezes. I am done with this stuff as it makes me furious and i can't enjoy Evo anymore.

So long it was nice for the last four years. rFactor here i come again!!!

Nvidia card or ATI?

If ATI make sure VPU recovery is enabled.

Great race guys.
Qualy 8th after a small mistake that cost me maybe 0.5 sec.
Way too careful in the first lap and knowing i should be able to go faster was abit frustrating,i let ben past as he seemed faster in the beginning and we sat off to catch youri martin and joao making a pack of 5.After another stupid mistake from my side i almost took out Ben but we manage to stay on track loosing another 2 sec on the guys infront i got back infront of Ben and i told him in ts,lets put our heads down and just catch the train. So we did and it became an awsome fight with 5 cars.Just before the first pitstop i brake a little early just after sector 2 timing and i see Youri slam the brakes and barly miss me spinning off.Sry,i was just beeing very careful as i was heading for the pit the next lap. Finally made it past Martin just before entering pits making it 3 in a row going in the pits at the same time.Seat must be faster to fill the tank because Martin overtook me in the pits again.
Start over with the chase.A few laps later again trying to get past Martin but, that must be the biggest seat in history. There was just no room.Big thumbs up Martin, well done defending 100% fair. After another bunch of laps i got past and caught up with Joao and again no room.Close to the end another stupid mistake ending up in the gravel with 3? laps to go and by then Marcin Joao and me were all within 1.2 sec Martin got past again making me have to set for 6th.
Grats to Peter for another awsome performance and also to A.Löffler taking home 2nd making it 2nd and 6th for the TBR1 team :D
After struggeling alot with these cars at Zuhai im starting to get along with them so....cya next round :D

Nice statements guys, her my report:

Qualy: Did a "normal" lap which brings me on P6. Was i guess too carefully and braking the corners a littlebit to early. So again slower then my best lap in practice.

Race: This installation lap is horrable :wink2: you have time think to all what can happen wrong, so i was again surprised how bad the brakes do working first turn. Was only luck that i didn´t hit Joao off track, could closely avoid him.
Was lucky that i don´t spun and could drive on P7 after Ries went off track. Then Chris go a littlebit wide and anbanded me P6 :thanks:also teammate Mikael let me go trough :in-love: so i was able to catch Joao.
He drove similar laptimes to me but i could overtake on the back straight after Joao lost his drive after the corner. Unfortunately me happen the same on the start and finish straight where i couldn´t hold him (Was notice his good topspeed)
2 or 3 laps berore the pits i could pass him again on the brakes but after that he stay closely behind me.:boink:
Then the deciding scene, Joao pit one round earlier but my pit works fine next round and i came closely in front of him back on track.
With new tyres i was able to increase the gap to about 8 sec. Marcin was about 10 sec in front of me and normally it were very hard to close this gap. But how he wrote some mistakes by him gave me P2 and after the second stop i had a gap of 7 sec to him.
He was busy with the guys behind him :fencing:so i could increase the gap to about 10 sec and finish second :second:
only 50 sec behind Peter :woot2: :rotfl:.
Congrats Peter to this Start -Finish - Victory, incredible driving. Also to Marcin P3 and all who finish the race.

@ Peter: good result for our old Degen Simracing Team, P1 and P2 :wink2:

And of course good result for TBR with 3 drivers in the Top 10 :good:

To welcome Aritan to the league after his absence (and for the great skin) :)

Great race today. Very encouraging after the early crash in the first race(I was on vacation in Hawaii :island: playing on my laptop with a joypad for the first time so I didn't feel too bad)

Practice went exceptionally well finishing the session around 10th. However then came the dreaded Superpole and I only qualified 18th :frown: A little disappointed, but my earlier pace returned during the race. I settled in and steadily gained places and finished a very gratifying 8th.

Great racing by everyone. Grats to Ben and to my teammate Rhys on his 5th. Go Rockets!!!! :alien:
