Season: 4 (2011)
Game(s) Required: Race On\ GTR-Evo\STCC the game and Race 07
Current Number of Divisions: 1

This league will be on invitational basis only!

Some drivers participated in S1,2 and 3 will receive an invitation to join the league, after the invitations are send and replied the entry list will be updated. Interested drivers, with a licensed membership and ranking status, can apply for the available places but we decide who will eventually drive based on a few criteria:

- driving standards
- commitment
- participation in previous RD leagues

This means that some people will be disappointed but that is unfortunately the downside of this system. We might open up a second server for a second group that will be the feeder series for the next seasons.

Sign-up agreement

Signing up for the league is a contract that your signing meaning that if you sign off at any giving moment after signing up is a breach of the contract. Absense

This is the most important part of the league briefing you need to understand! If you are allowed to drive the in league we expect you to be present during all races of the season. If you happen to miss out on an event and go missing in action afterwards without giving any notice the race staff reserve the rights to terminate your licensed member status on RaceDeparment.

Incidents

It may happen that rules get violated. In such cases it is up to the drivers to report the violation. The staff encourages this and will only investigate incidents that are reported by drivers.

No report = no investigation = no penalty

A report can be sent to the staff by private message. It must always contain:

o Name of the league: RDCCC S4
o The name of the reported driver (the violator)
o A link to a youtube or vimeo movie that shows the incident in various angles
o A short description of the incident, without rant.

You must always send the report with your own forum account. You can only send a report if you were actually in the race. Report from outsider will be not be considered.
After sending the staff will then investigate the incident. Incomplete reports will not be considered.

Reports must be sent within 48 hours of the finish of the race. Reports that come in too late might not be considered.

General League Rules

All the general league rules are written down in a document for the 2010 league season. Click here to read it! Additionnal rules or rule specifications might be added in the rule thread so make sure you read them and understand them.

Cheers guys, all this means a hell of a lot, especially considering all the pain we had getting the broadcast up, getting viewers in, getting music sorted, getting settled after that idiot... and even then we had fps issues. But thanks guys! :)

Qually : 6th , only 0.5 sec off pace to the poleman made me a very happy and proud man. :)

Race : Had a good start, came along side Andreas for t1,but took it very carefully(as did Andreas:good:) and Duivelaar was in front of me so couldnt accellerate as well as i would have liked so Andreas was in front of me at t2.
As severall other drivers i also went out basicly on my wet setup with slick tyres because i was expecting rain within the first 10 laps,at most.
Unfortunatly my wet setup was obviously not as good as my dry setup as i was struggling to keep up with Andreas, and with Swidersky and Vrba right behind me, i wasnt feeling that comfertable:frown:.
Slowly Andreas, and the rest of the top drivers, pulled away.
I just could not match their pace, simple as that.
But at the same time i was able to hold off Swiderski and Vrba.
Stayed out on track as long as i could(21 laps) in order not to have to go back to the pits just for wets a few laps after my regular pitstop(had it planned fot lap 18).

Was hoping and praying for rain but 1st pitstop came and went without the rain...
Lost a spot to Jesper Taulborg in the pits so came out in 7th place just in front of Horvath.
Managed to hold him off for quite some laps while keeping Andreas and Jesper ,in front of me, in sight.
Then i made a little mistake in the fast right hander, were i was struggling with a lot of understeer all race, and Horvath could pass me in the tight left turn after the short straight because i was braking just that little bit to late so he could go right to left on the inside :frown:.
But next right turn he was a bit to hungry with his right foot so he put his nose into the wall as his rear end broke out on him, allowing me to pass him again:).
Even with his front spoiler missing Horvath was giving me no rest, great driving m8.(Or was i just that slow:confused:,lol.)

Still within a few seconds of Andreas finally the rain came so time for the 2nd pitstop.
Again came out as 7th.
Both Horvath and Vrba came out in front off me a lap later as they were doing their pitstops.:frown:
Could sneek pass Horvath in t2 as he was running wide on the grass,so back in 6th place again:).
Passed Vrba on the s/f because he spinned comming off the curbs,so..5th place:).
Almost lost it myself going into t1,sliding off the wall, but fortunatly was able to hold Horvath(who was still missing his front spoiler, unbelieveble) behind me,pffff.
Unfortunatly as i was lapping a backmarker he spinned and collected Horvath who was just beside him at that moment, tuff luck:frown:,although it gave me some breathing space.
Slowly gained some time at Andreas in front of me because he had some moments with the rainy
condicions but it wasnt enough, finished in 5th place.

Very happy with the result, wasnt easy.
Congrats to all who have finished the race and offcourse especially the podium guys:pray:.

Big thanks to Yves and the guys in the commentry booth for making this event as great as it is:thanks::doublethumb:

Had to give myself a bit of time to reflect before my burlesque race report. Here it is.

Everything started to go wrong with the qually, had nice setup ready, but the whole time i've practiced with my race one, still trying to work out a compromise between dry & wet. When i loaded up my Q setup for the run i almost wrecked the car on the out lap, that got me very nervous and tense. Result; 0.8sec off my training runs and 10th on the grid :frown: . But that was only the beginning of my troubles  .

Race.
I've noticed darker skies and having the forecast in mind i change the setup once again, to full wet, expecting the rain to arrive before my 1st planned pit stop. Another small mistake.
Clean start and i stick to the inside in t1, wise move as i manage to jump 3 cars & into 7th position  :) . The next 14 laps i,m in a sandwich between Martijn & Martin, waiting for rain and abusing my tires. So far so good. Then lap 15th comes and my brain take a break. I overbrake myself into t3 and had to let Martin go, i do it again at the next corner and go off track. Rejoin just in front of Jesper. As my tires are in bad shape and no sign of rain i decided to pit a few laps earlier then planned, in hope of making some time up on fresh rubber. To make it more interesting i slammed hard into the pit wall on entry and got suspension damage call from my pit crew. I put fresh tires on, fill the tank and rejoin. By the second corner a horrible thought crosses my mind, I GOT THE WETS ON. Man oh man, what did i do. As i was expecting rain by the time i pit, my preset was for wets, and i forgot to change that. Agrrrrrrrrrr...............
What do i do now......something stupid of course. I stay on track. Rain rain RAIN PLS.......that wall is coming way too fast for my liking and i,m waken up from my rain prayers with a big bang. I NEED slicks or i wont be running much futher. Pit stop no.2, top up the tank of course:rolleyes: and fresh rubber. Now i,m somewhere at the back, cursing myself out loud to the amusement of my wife & kids. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr....... 2/3 of the race gone and the rain is upon us. Dive into the pits ( with a wall slam of course ), get the tires & fuel, come out. F@?K..................WRONG tires AGAIN....%&@&*"?#. And what do i do????? I STAY ON them for full 3 laps, going off track numerous times. Pit stop no.4, here i come. Finally i,m on good tires and start to make some ground, finished 15th i think ( still with half the tank as i was topping up each time i pitted ).
NICE race, innit:redface::redface:.

Veery nice job on the broadcast Toby & Adam, it seems you're coming out of age guys:wink:.
And the NOOB/RETARD award goes to.....................ME:D:D:tongue:. I think i,m also a VERY strong contender for the overall championship win in this category. Maybe the only one i'll ever get at RD :D:D:redface::tongue:.

Well done to Peter, Greg and Rami, thx Yves & RD, WD all drivers. Been fun.....ish:wink::wink:. Done. Dusted. Forgotten.

Warmup: Dry. 1C

Race: Dry. 1C

*Detailed weather forecast will be posted one day prior to the race.
Local time in Tokio = GMT + 9 hrs

Starting procedure
please take note that all races this season will use a standing start instead of a manuel rolling start like it was announced in the Intro and Infos thread.

Cutting rules

2 wheels must remain between the 2 white lines at all time.

Pitting procedure

The pit entry and exit is tricky and there is no white lines at either place so to avoid any pitting incident use the quick chat button that was use at the test race saying " (your first name) Pitting in" and when exiting the pit you have to remain on the right side of the track until turn 3.

Disconnection procedure

it might occur that someone get disconnected from the server at some point so here's how its go. if you get disconnected from the server during qualification and you haven't went on track your allow to rejoin the qualification and to set a time. in the case that you have already set a time and get disconnected your not allow to set another time so it mean you'll be starting at the back of the field, if you break the rule there will be a penality. in the case someone get disconnected during the warm up the server will be put back in practice to allow the driver (s) to rejoin and those driver (s) will then start the race at the back of the field and we will then go back to the warm up and complete it and the race will now use a manual rolling start. we will do 2 formation laps, the first one will be for doing the grid in the right order in a safe way, once your in the right starting place keep the left side of the track so the driver(s) that need to get at the front of grid can safely pass on the right side of the track. the procedure will be given in chat by the race director (Yves Larose) so it is important that you follow them and remember your qualification place.

I really would like to join FSR 2011 season, but 3 of these races will be during the Camaro Cup. Is there a possibility that these camaro cup events will be re-scheduled?
Or another possibility is to start these races an hour later, then I can race both.
