Absense

This is the most important part of the league briefing you need to understand! If you are allowed to drive the in league we expect you to be present during all races of the season. If you happen to miss out on an event and go missing in action afterwards without giving any notice the race staff reserve the rights to terminate your licensed member status on RaceDeparment.

Incidents

It may happen that rules get violated. In such cases it is up to the drivers to report the violation. The staff encourages this and will only investigate incidents that are reported by drivers.

No report = no investigation = no penalty

A report can be sent to the staff by private message. It must always contain:

o Name of the league: RDCCC S4
o The name of the reported driver (the violator)
o A link to a youtube or vimeo movie that shows the incident in various angles
o A short description of the incident, without rant.

You must always send the report with your own forum account. You can only send a report if you were actually in the race. Report from outsider will be not be considered.
After sending the staff will then investigate the incident. Incomplete reports will not be considered.

Reports must be sent within 48 hours of the finish of the race. Reports that come in too late might not be considered.

General League Rules

All the general league rules are written down in a document for the 2010 league season. Click here to read it! Additionnal rules or rule specifications might be added in the rule thread so make sure you read them and understand them.

Good racing guys, fastastic work from all.

Couple of sad notes. Firstly, the broadcast didn't work at all on RD. It only worked on simrace, for whatever reason, we will look into it. We will obviously fix for the next round. Secondly, whichever idiot joined the comm booth as Bernard de la Bouche is a ****ing wanker and if we can get that person's IP he will be perma-banned from everything RD related, because he joined in and ruined the broadcast. I am really really sorry if that guy appears on the broadcast replay, we couldn't do anything though until Adam figured out how to kick him. For next race, guys, the booth will be password protected, and to join you have to join the comm booth and we will then ask you to move to the comm box and give you the password once you've proven you are who it says you are. Understood?

Congrats to Peter though, great race out front, Rami gets a nod as does Degreef, and we forgot to do the driver of the day, so I will ask Adam for his now. :)

Made a mess of my qual lap and got a time more than 1s slower than normally, so ended up in 14th spot.

Had a great start but got pushed into T1 running a bit wide. The "pusher" and another 4-5 cars in front where battling hard so in T2 i saw the chance and sneaked by on the inside and then i was up in 10'th.
Race then went on without any real battles.

At my first pit stop there where already a car on my pit box, making it really difficult to see the stop arrow so i overshot it and had to reverse. Some seconds lost but not a disaster.
I had opted for a full wet setup so i was a bit disappointed that the race was still dry and that i had to go out on another set of dry tires.

Pit stop 2 came perfectly timed and i could dive into the pits for rain tires with exactly 20 laps left of the race.
Now i started to gain slowly on the cars in front an my full wet setup started to pay of.

Then disaster on lap 40......
came up to Bob H (about to be lapped) who had spun after T1 and now where turning the car around without paying enough attention to the cars coming in full speed. I hit the back of Bob's car and lost my front spoiler completely.
I thought i had to go for pits but the car was still controllable, but slow in the corners, but i would have lost more time on pitting so i carried on the last 15 laps.
All hopes on gaining any positions where gone, now it was only a case of bringing it back home.

Finished the race in 8'th

Great race all, and grats to the podium guys.
Txs RD and Yves for organizing.

nice first race here :)
P1 in qualy and finish P2 in race after a spin from Rami in the last few laps.
was leading until first stop, loose +-5sec there.
i was really hoping that the rain will come before 1st stop (like the weather forcast was looking for) because i was with a "rain setup" with slicks and know that it was not good at all for my tires. i was so happy when i hear the rain on the car... :D
i had a big prob with my engine wear... at lap 30 i saw on XD tool that my engine wear is in red and still only 19% oO. i was in fight with peter when i saw that and need to say that it was really hard to stay focus with this probleme. need to drive almost in "ECO mod" but for the engine wear not the fuel lool
gratz to peter for win and for the superbe overtake on me :D
wd all finishers and teammates!! :)
bix thx to Yves and RD to make that league running ;)

Qually inside the top 10 surprised and pleased me and quite a decent launch from the line but nowhere really to go with it,i was the filling in a Bob M. and Marty V. sandwich,i decided to back out early and luckily no drama from behind and got to avoid a little bit of drama ahead so gained a bit there, all seemed well early but i was always a little nervous with the car, started dropping places but as the fuel ran out my main part of the first stint was chasing Jan,that continued after the first stop for 4 new slicks and a tank full, enjoyed some good laps chasing on Jan again and shadowed him to the pits when the rain arrived and time for wets, and my report sort of falls on its arse now really,it turned in to a comedy farce of spinning and damages until it got to a point where i decided there is a very good chance i am going to collect another driver and ruin things for them as well,i duly black flagged myself off the circuit,as would have probably happened in a real life race tbh :).
I can hear the voices of decent already saying "pah..pfff,typical Lenno doing nowt prep then failing badly blaming Simbin",although harsh,in most cases usually fair criticism for me,but this time i practiced dry and wet, even a taste of wet track with slicks in the event of that occurring,i was using a default setup that seemed to work just fine for me with slicks or wets which was all lovely and convienent and i felt good to go,but when the rain struck in the race and i put wets on it felt nothing like my practice,it really closely reminded me of the little taste of wet track on slicks though,i was checking my pit menu thing about twice a lap to check if it is actually wets on the thing,it said they were but acted like not,ce la vie innit.
Grats Pete and podiums and well done all finishers.

Thank You Yves & RD and broadcast crew

Qualy went well althought i was one time full off track in this two slow right handers. But a 33.2 from Greg, Rami, Henrik, and Peter wouldn´t be possible. 0,027 sec from 1-4 was incredible :good:.
Knew from beginning that overtaking will be quite hard so tried at least to hold my position. Worked and followed now Henrik and Peter. To Rami and Greg open a little gap. Peter seemed very fast and hoped to profite maybe from his fight. After Peter passed, he quickly run away. Founded also a way in front of Henrik but my pushing ended in wide run and went back in P5 . With first pit i went back in P4 but now in front of Jesper. After followed one guy in the gravel, Jesper passed me easily. But like Henrik, Jesper gave me a good loco and from behind Martijn made pressure, so no room for futher mistakes. Hang on Jesper till he stopped, unlucky for him 3 laps later the rain comes finally . Like i guess all, i was on my wet setup but i was not unlucky that the rains comes so late . After stop i had almost 20 sec to P3 and 15 to P5. So wanted not risk too much and bring it home. Wasn´t so easy, think visit two times the gravel and one 360° on start finish line. Specially to the end i went all the time sideways out of the corners. Saved finally P4 3sec in front of Martjin, hope we have not too often rain this season . Congrats Peter, Greg and Rami on podium

ok time for my race report.

Qualy: once again i messed up my hotlap, i was aiming for something around 7th place but i ended up second to last which mean lots of work for me to do in the race for making up for a very very poor qualy :frown:

Race: had a good start and jumped one or two guy's right from the grid as they failed to move when the light went green, i was careful the few first turn as not to cause any incident and let the field spread a little then started my way back up. made a few good pass and was gifted a few places by guy's running wide or spinning and by my team mates that didn,t put too much of a fight ( thanks guy's  ). had a nice fight with Wesley but i have to apologize to him for the 2 taps, the first one wasn,t costly for him and i didn't took advantage of it but the second one was bad at T1 sending him slightly into the wall (small contact with the wall if i remember correctly) but i decided to give him his place back which i think surprised him and made him miss his braking point at T2 :frown: really sorry mate :frown: after that i was too far behind and settle in a rythm and tried to save some tyres as i was running my rain setup. first stint went well, took 4 slick tyres and a full tank, i think i made 1 or 2 places in the second stint but didn,t improved much. then came the rain just in time for my second pitstop (perfect timing ), took a full tank and 4 wet tyres, this stint didn,t go as well as the 2 previous one, i had practiced under the rain but the car seem to felt differently or maybe it was me not adjusting for the wet conditions. i spunned many times during the first few laps (5 laps or so) after coming out of the pit making me lose some places, after those few laps i was able to adjust my driving but still wasn,t feeling comfy in those conditions. finally finished the race in 14th place but it should have been more like 10th if i wouldn't have done so many mistakes but still could do some damage limitation after my qualy.

grats to the top 3 finishers and wd everybody that survived the rain :) thanks to RD, simraceTV and our 2 commentators Toby and Adam for their brilliant work.

We had alot of problems with the broadcast and 1 of them was the frame rate. Really sorry guys this was out of our hands and was down to simrace.tv. They had abit of a busy weekend and tried to teach me and Toby how to set it up. But from what I can gather they had forgot a few things. Myself and toby are going to try our best to understand how to set this up and get is running as smooth as possible, and also with the best commentary we can offer :D.
