League: RaceDepartment Chevrolet Camaro Cup
Season: 4 (2011)
Game(s) Required: Race On\ GTR-Evo\STCC the game and Race 07
Current Number of Divisions: 1

This league will be on invitational basis only!

Some drivers participated in S1,2 and 3 will receive an invitation to join the league, after the invitations are send and replied the entry list will be updated. Interested drivers, with a licensed membership and ranking status, can apply for the available places but we decide who will eventually drive based on a few criteria:

- driving standards
- commitment
- participation in previous RD leagues

This means that some people will be disappointed but that is unfortunately the downside of this system. We might open up a second server for a second group that will be the feeder series for the next seasons.

Sign-up agreement

Signing up for the league is a contract that your signing meaning that if you sign off at any giving moment after signing up is a breach of the contract. Braking the contract will result in consequences that can go as far as your licensed member status beeing remove or you beeing forbidden to participate to any other RD leagues for a year.

Absense

This is the most important part of the league briefing you need to understand! If you are allowed to drive the in league we expect you to be present during all races of the season. If you happen to miss out on an event and go missing in action afterwards without giving any notice the race staff reserve the rights to terminate your licensed member status on RaceDeparment.

Incidents

It may happen that rules get violated. In such cases it is up to the drivers to report the violation. The staff encourages this and will only investigate incidents that are reported by drivers.

No report = no investigation = no penalty

A report can be sent to the staff by private message. It must always contain:

o Name of the league: RDCCC S4
o The name of the reported driver (the violator)
o A link to a youtube or vimeo movie that shows the incident in various angles
o A short description of the incident, without rant.

You must always send the report with your own forum account. You can only send a report if you were actually in the race. Report from outsider will be not be considered.
After sending the staff will then investigate the incident. Incomplete reports will not be considered.

Reports must be sent within 48 hours of the finish of the race. Reports that come in too late might not be considered.

General League Rules

All the general league rules are written down in a document for the 2010 league season. Click here to read it! Additionnal rules or rule specifications might be added in the rule thread so make sure you read them and understand them.

Peter with all the testing i made i was able to easely do 3,7L per laps on dry, at that fuel usage you can do 23,7 laps with a full tank on dry but since part of the race will be on wet and that we know that on wet we use less fuel the 3,7L per lap i can do on dry now can become a 3,4L per lap meaning 25,8 laps per tank so a one spotter for a 50 laps race. even with 55L i'm not sure that the one stopper can't be done and i base the lap count for a dry race so if rain comes in naturally it will makes the race longer in time like in reality. like Martijn said nobody knows ( not even me ) when the rain will come in the race, the later it will come the shorter the race will be.

this is how i came up with 55 laps for the race, i determined my fuel usage on the track on dry which is 4,2L per lap then i looked at the test race (race session) winner pit strategy in that case Gregory, he was faster then me using 0,5L per lap less then me. so i take my 4,2 and substract 0,5 from it so it made it a 3,7L per lap for Greg with faster lap time then me. so 88L divided by 3,7L = 23,7 laps so i make that 23 laps per tank, 23x2=46 laps for a 1 stopper so it left 9 laps at 3,7L per lap = 33,3L to complete the race which is not even a half tank. all my lap count are for a dry race cause i don't know what the weather will as i'm not the one making the weather so it will be equal for everybody since i race in the league.

I just want to share my opinion on the race length. With the rain the race will now last about 1 hour and 45 minutes, which is a very long race in my opinion. Isn't it possible to decrease the amount of laps a bit? I am almost sure no one will be able to do less than 3,7 liter per lap, so 176:3,7= about 48 laps. If you put it at 50 then the race will be 10 minutes shorter and I don't think anyone will be able to do a 1 stopper.

Apologies to all for my very bad driving at the start, got caught up in the tight grid and missed my brake points, it won't happen again. Yves i am reporting myself, take a look and penalise me whatever you think.

Grats all finishers.

Great race, quali was so close, it was unbelievable :)
Great fights throughout the race, had some problems with a little bit of lag, so I had to take a lot of care to make a clean overtake.
Rain came at the right moment, and everything went perfect :)
Thanks for the race everyone!

Whoa! The last 20 mins was Bambi on Ice :D

I qualied ok (18th) considering very little training, fever and a cold so was not feeling confident for a hard rain race but when it all started all that was gone and I was in my competition mode :) Found my self in 16th after a little while and had some great fights with the two Bobs (just as last season, lol) and Kev and a few others. That pretty much went on until the rain arrived 2/3's of the race, going from 15th to 18th and back and forth. Then I found my self in 15th after the "rain stops" and later I got up to 12th. Kev however had a rocket attached to his car and cought me like nothing and then disapeared into the future :) I managed to hold on to 13th depsite losing my concentration the last 10 laps while letting lapped cars through. Though it could have gone better as I was less then a second behind Wesley and it was only a few secs up to Kev in 10th. Yves was threatening from behind aswell but he made mistakes everytime he got close. But I am happy with 13th :)

Grats Peter and my teammates and of course for all who finished this one :D

Is there somewhere I can watch a replay of the broacast?

Well, that had to be, THE WORST RACE I'VE EVER DONE!!!

I was soooo crap once the race started it was just unbelievable. My pace was just horrible, could never get around that track with that car consistently. I just couldn't drive the car, thing felt like it was a boat and I had next to no control. I was bad in this car last year, this year, I'm worse!

F***ING WORSE!!! WTF IS WRONG WITH ME, AM I S-H-I-T OR JUST STUPID AS NOTHING I DID COULD MAKE ME HAVE ANY CONFIDENCE IN THIS THING.

Nothing wrong with the mod, just seems like I can't drive anything apart from a FWD car competatively.

Sorry for my shambles of what might have looked like driving and if I hampered anyone in any way.

We will see what I feel like two weeks, see if I'm not depressed enough to feel like racing at Sugo.
