This league will be on invitational basis only!

Some drivers participated in S1,2 and 3 will receive an invitation to join the league, after the invitations are send and replied the entry list will be updated. Interested drivers, with a licensed membership and ranking status, can apply for the available places but we decide who will eventually drive based on a few criteria:

- driving standards
- commitment
- participation in previous RD leagues

This means that some people will be disappointed but that is unfortunately the downside of this system. We might open up a second server for a second group that will be the feeder series for the next seasons.


Sign-up agreement

Signing up for the league is a contract that your signing meaning that if you sign off at any giving moment after signing up is a breach of the contract. Braking the contract will result in consequences that can go as far as your licensed member status beeing remove or you beeing forbidden to participate to any other RD leagues for a year.

Practice: On race day the servers will be open all day to practice
Super Pole Qualification: 19:00 GMT (15 minutes)
Warm-up: 19:15 GMT (10 minutes)
Race: 19:25 GMT (between 60-80 minutes including formation lap)

Having you own livery is mandatory, if you can not create your own we encourage you to ask help from the community.

Absense

This is the most important part of the league briefing you need to understand! If you are allowed to drive the in league we expect you to be present during all races of the season. If you happen to miss out on an event and go missing in action afterwards without giving any notice the race staff reserve the rights to terminate your licensed member status on RaceDeparment.

Incidents

It may happen that rules get violated. In such cases it is up to the drivers to report the violation. The staff encourages this and will only investigate incidents that are reported by drivers.

No report = no investigation = no penalty

A report can be sent to the staff by private message. It must always contain:

o Name of the league: RDCCC S4
o The name of the reported driver (the violator)
o A link to a youtube or vimeo movie that shows the incident in various angles
o A short description of the incident, without rant.

You must always send the report with your own forum account. You can only send a report if you were actually in the race. Report from outsider will be not be considered.
After sending the staff will then investigate the incident. Incomplete reports will not be considered.

Reports must be sent within 48 hours of the finish of the race. Reports that come in too late might not be considered.

No need to be aggressive Andreas, I asked it politely if it was possible and when it is not possible then it is also no problem.
FSR is also a part of RD and usually 2 leagues don't drive at the same time. FSR is a big oppurtunity for a simracer and I wouldn't want to miss that.

I didn't know that Ivo, I thought the 2 worked together. Then I understand if it is not possible to change the schedule.

EDIT: If the races still start at 19:00 GMT also when the summertime starts, then I will be able to do both races, but once again if that is not possible then it is also no problem.

to be exact Peter the FSR league your refering too is a supported league and not an RD official league as it is run by and on the presto server so thats why their dates clash with RD leagues dates cause they don't have access to our league calendar and they don,t bother looking at our posted league to see if there is a clash between the dates. rescheduling or changing time of those 3 races is in fact alot of extra work for me, i have to reschedule the broadcast if its even possible to do it, see if the commentators can make it, make sure that everybody is aware of the changes, redo 6 flyers and 3 banners, in the case of a full rescheduling i have to make sure it doesn't clash with any RD league and still the new dates could clash with the FSR league as i don,t have their calendar and most importantly the last date of the present calendar is already a date that i wanted to avoid since summer vacations period start in may.

what i really don,t understand is that your a very strong countender for this season champion title and your ready to throw that away to be able to join another league. their league asn't start yet so maybe it would be easier for them to change their calendar cause for me to do it for one person with all the work its involve is kind of a nonesense and if i do it for you i will have to do it for anyone that want a change in the calendar so you can understand that i can't do it cause it will become a real pain to try to satisfied everyone. i'm really sad that people don't take the RDCCC as seriously as any other league around and as a big opportinuty as any other league.

I fully understand it Yves.
For me FSR is just something I don't want to miss, its not that I don't like RDCCC. I really appreciate all the effort that is put in making this league, and the drivers are also great. I didn't know when this league started that 3 of the races would be during FSR, actually I didn't even know I would get the oppurtunity to drive FSR.
I hope it is not a problem that I will be then absent for 3 of the races.

1 question: Will the races still start at 19:00 GMT when the summertime starts or will it be made 1 hour earlier?

I'm afraid you are completely wrong there Yves, FSR has nothing to do with Presto, it is a professional F1 league, the most professional outside of iRacing, with huge money involved. Please read up on it again. When they are the top of the tree, they are not going to change any calendar dates to fit in with the rest of the leagues are they? We simply provide them a forum.

That's just the way it is, no matter how highly regarded CCC is.

i have to say that its not easy to race when everything go wrong and so far i don,t enjoy my league at all and guy's its not your fault, its my own fault :frown: and adding to that i have a shoulder that is really hurting so it doesn,t help either.

Gary i'm really sorry that you missed the qualy and the race i don't know what happen but i would like to know so if you can drop me a pm mate.

BobM we waited for you to rejoin but i had the feeling you were not gonna rejoin so after a little while we moved on to the race sorry mate for the disco'ed :frown:

I was already struggling with balance in this car. The brakes on these are soooo inconsistent. Nothing I could do would make the thing do what it was told.

If this car isn't properly driveable at Hockenheim, I'll take some bloody TNT and put it in the car and blow it to pieces.

Glad that one is over, hate that track with a vengance but in the end it was an ok race, cars in front i could do nothing about as i just did not have the pace, but it was good fun keeping a gap to Bjorn behind.
The start was a bit wild with some cars getting tangled up in front but once i dodged past them it was fine apart from scary lag spikes near the end of the race.

what a race

@ Yves: don´t worry, we aren´t afraid. You managed it very good to today with all this problems.

I had a quite eventful race and made it myself quite hard. To beginning started from 4th with my best lap ever in qualy . I was able to hold the speed of Peter and Jesper Had a good pace in 32´s. After Jesper went off also with Peter with 1 sec till lap 9.
Then mistake in this horrable righthander before start/finish line. Watched the replay and my impact with the wall was harder as i expected in race. My left side had a damage which i guess causes all the trouble i got later. I mean i went now everywhere sideways, specially right handers. From this my tyres went everywhere in red, to the end of stints i was 2-3 sec slower then best time. other thing was a problem with pedals, From time to time i had no full throttle which annoyed me cause was never knowing if it happens again.
Think had it when Jesper pass me easily on straight, before that we had a great fight with passing, repassing - enjoyed it much. Second stint i could start with 32´s but it went down massively and both Martín´s could catch and pass me. I let the door too wide open and thought this won´t happen again to me :wink:.
After 2nd stop Vrba came right in front of me out, Bommel was more far away althought he pitted later, miracle how he did that . Due my problems i tried all to pass Vrba in the next laps which surprisingly worked with outbraking on backstraight. From that point i went into defending position. I struggled like hell, but then Martin spun half, which gave me luckily some room. Unlucky not enought, with five laps to go he was there again. I remember don´t let the door open last corner, there i was so much slower but finally could hold it. It was a really an intense fight for me, on the edge of the car and pressure all the time from Martin, :thanks: for that Martin -althought little lags disturb a bit it but it was great racing . Finished finally 5th.
Congrats Rami for win, maybe a bit boring for you but you was in your own class today :wink:. Well done also Peter, Greg and van Bommel in front of me and thanks all for the nice racing together.
Looking forward to Hockenheim, hopefully not so stressful for Yves .
