I've done hundreds of laps now, and I still can't get the right setup top get below 2 mins. This is getting pretty infuriating.

For me, I am losing lots of time in the slow twisty parts. Stuff like T3/4 has a lot to do with where you brake to put you in position to maximize the exit out of the complex. Same with the next twisty parts. I have a tendency on trying to tweak the setup to get me through the fast parts optimally...but in actuality those tweaks will only net little, but changing how I approach some turns in the slow part will net bigger time gains.

No sry but it woud be nice if you can paint one for me. If yes use same colors like the car and thx in advance

Just a reminder guys, when you're saving your skins as .dds files, make sure you're saving them at 2048x2048 resolution.

In photoshop, go to 'Image / Image size' and then save :)

Which DDS format are you guys using ? In the skinning guide it says:-

A note about the saving format
: What are the differences between the two export types?
Type: ‘8.8.8.8 ARGB 32 bpp | unsigned’ vs 'DXT5 ARGB 8 bpp | interpolated alpha'
Full Racing Grid PC Stress: Very High vs Medium
File size (per file): 21 MB vs 5 MB
Quality: Best vs Good
Colors: Excellent vs Good
Saving time: 2 seconds vs 12 seconds
It is your choice which one you use.

@Chris Stacey

What was the process for picking the tracks for this season? Was talking amongst some others and my personal opinion (and also a few others) is that there are some duds in this calendar. Zandvoort & Imola stand out as tracks which are not very conducive to fun racing.

How come Barca, Brands and other mod tracks were overlooked?

We're not racing on Monza though.

Silverstone is in because I'm planning on alternating tracks between seasons. So next season Brands will replace Silverstone and Barcelona will replace Imola.

Ok DLC whatever. But looking at that calendar that we are restricted to for some reason, there are some options like Paul Richard and A1 Ring which have decent enough mods out there.

This has turned into a more general observation now, but it just seems we use the same tracks all the time.
