ive done 500 laps of silverstone, i HATE silverstone, in assetto and in real life, i watched 4-5 gp at silverstone, and they were always the most boring races in the calender,

but

chris is the boss, and silverstone is it. im ready.( what for i dont know)

Silverstone has always been one of my most hated too, but the fact is it's a good racing track. Takes a lot of skill and has plenty of overtaking opportunities.

Silverstone is one of my favourite circuits. In the uk not globally. I like how technical it is but yet also manages to have some really fast sections too.

As a spectator I've camped there many times for multiple different Motorsport disciplines and I've seen some amazing races there.

It's not a patch on a Spa or Zandvoort but it's a decent track

Yeah I've marshalled on most parts of the circuit, so I'k not going to criticise it. Good track, some of the best corners on the F1 calendar and space to overtake.

Just a reminder guys, when you're saving your skins as .dds files, make sure you're saving them at 2048x2048 resolution.

In photoshop, go to 'Image / Image size' and then save

What other restrictions? Wingset also 2048 or that one 1024?

Nothing more than 2048. If it's already below 2048, then leave it as is (such as tyre textures from other skins in the F3 skinpack)

And sitting in the grandstands at Stowe with the V8 F1 cars clunking through the gearbox. You could hear the gear changes from Stowe when they turned into the hangar straight.

But as much as I like Silverstone my trip to Barcelona and watching and hearing f1 cars screaming down the start finish straight whilst sitting on a hill on the opposite side of the circuit has so far been unbeatable.

At the FR3.5 last year at Silverstone, Red Bull brought their 2012 car to do some laps during the lunch break. With only the one car going around, I was stood at Stowe and you could hear the entire lap, every gear change, lift off and so on. It was incredible.

Damn straight.
One of things I dislike about most newly designed tracks is they typically have 20+ corners. The A1 ring is a great example of how you don't need more than 7 or 8 corners to create an awesome circuit.
