Brought my phone to school the last 2 days so I could be on time.
And today I forget about it.. obviously

@Timmieturner12 how are you going to beat this race report?

  • Hour 1: Buurlage led Engberink and Kederer away from the start. Ancevski tries to keep in touch, but is lost slightly.
  • Hour 2: Ferrari are forced to make unscheduled pitstops to both cars after worrying telemetry readings. A swift CTRL+ALT+DELETE later and they were both on their way again.
  • Hour 3: A tree branch falls on the circuit between the chicanes, and a FCY is used to clear it up. Rinneaho spins at Indianapolis.
  • Hour 4: Engberink has a stint in the lead, followed by the OMR's, after Benetton's rain gamble failed.
  • Hour 5: Safety Car is called into action for barrier repairs at the second chicane after Rami Saidy spun after contact with Chant, punting the Toyota heavily into the Armco.
  • Hour 6: Said overtakes Rautavaara, who replies by forcing the Turk into the pitlane. The Finn picked up a large penalty which didn't help him.
  • Hour 7: Andrea Dovizioso goes back to his biking ways after getting the Ford Chicane wrong, bouncing over the sausage kerb and getting on two wheels. The Italian ace managed to hold it on two wheels to stop the suspension collapsing if it fell back on the track, and casually rolled down the pitwall and back underway.
  • Hour 8: Wolf and Saidy relentlessly battle each other, both pitting together and exiting at the same time. The Japanese manufacturers were desperately trying to beat the other.
  • Hour 9: Kederer, who was around a minute away from any cars on the circuit, starts singing through his team radio to try and stay awake and avoid getting bored. His rendition of Bohemian Rhapsody wasn't too bad, but a racing driver doing 200+mph isn't advised to sign Phil Collins' "In the Air Tonight", as Kederer soon spun when the drum solo bit came up. :roflmao:
  • Hour 10: Harvey is handed some nourishment during the pitstop. Most drivers are given Protein shakes or Vitamin pills to keep them going through the race. Not the Middlesbrough lad, who is seen driving through the Porsche Curves one-handed, with the other holding a nice looking Fish 'n' Chips dish!
  • Hour 11: Keranen loses time when a his lights fail. He is passed by Harvey and follows him around the track using his lights. Keranen reaches the pitlane to get his lights fixed, with a car covered in fish grease.
  • Hour 12: Utzer and Ancevski battle it out in the night. Kederer is still singing - the team is planning to release his version of "Gangnam Style" as a charity single.
  • Hour 13: Disaster for Buurlage. Andy Black spins into the barriers at the first chicane, and Buurlage is caught lapping both Omer Said and Joel Rautavaara under the yellow flags. This mistake dropped him many places and ruined any chance he had of winning.
  • Hour 14: Black, who later attributed his crash to "a rather potatoey substance reducing his tyre grip", rejoins and instantly starts re-catching the pack and getting back some positions.
  • Hour 15: Kederer finally loses his voice and decides to try and win the race.
  • Hour 16: A puncture for Engberink comes at the wrong time, as his team had just serviced his team mate and didn't have fuel to put in his car. Engberink was fitted with some nice soft tyres and set the fastest lap, which was never topped.
  • Hour 17: Due to a lost voice, Kederer (who had inherited the lead) was unable to tell his team through the radio about the rather bad vibration in the car and awful smell in the cockpit. He pitted, to the utter bemusement of his team, and had to wait for a pen and paper before he could explain the situation. The time lost by this mixup dropped him behind Engberink again.
  • Hour 18: Fog.
  • Hour 19: Still Foggy, still under Safety Car.
  • Hour 20: Kederer is close to Engberink as the Safety Car finally goes away, but is left for dead on the restart.
  • Hour 21: Ancevski spins into the Gravel through the first corner after a pretty spectacular puncture. He drops behind the OMR guys as he returns to the pit.
  • Hour 22: Regaining his voice, and getting bored, Kederer drives side-by-side with Ben Herbert for a few laps bellowing out some utter classics. Who knew two racing drivers trying to concentrate on their race could produce such a touching version of "Can You Feel The Love Tonight"? The background himanya na himanyamanyama's were provided by Ben Utzer, who was trying to get past them.
  • Hour 23: Drivers are told to stop singing, Harvey is told to stop throwing chip wrappers into the radiator ducts of other drivers (Omer Said pitted three times to get the greasy newspaper balls out of his airboxes), and to get racing. They try to do so, but the drivers had spread out so much, there was no point.
  • Hour 24: The drivers decided to just drive together and just join as a band. 45 minutes from the end, the drivers radioed for musical instruments, and all pitted and picked them up 10 minutes later. Old Wolf was seen with a flute sticking out the side of his visor, Joel Rautavaara preferred the Bongo Drums, Xen Foro found it tough to use a violin, Tapio Rinneaho plugged a bass guitar into his steering wheel - and what did Keranen do to top it off? He had the team lower a Grand Piano on the nose of his car. Kederer had his DJ decks, and they finished the race with an odd rendition of David Guetta's "Dangerous" (with Ancevski on lead vocals). Just as Ancevski started belting out the line It's dangerous, so dangerous, the inevitable happened and they all crashed. With only half a lap to go, Race Control just decided to give the result after the previous lap and hand massive fines to the drivers.
