I recently turned 30 and havent cried since my Nan passed away but im sitting here holding back tears as my wheel has died. I dont just mean no FFB, i mean totally dead, it doesnt even power on.

I havent looked forward to a race anywhere near as much as this and i am devestated. The other downside to this is i dont have the money to replace my wheel, not even a cheap Ebay job. I think i am going to cry.

insurance?

I appreciate the offer mate, but i dont see myself with any spare cash for a while, i cant even afford a used DFGT for Ebay at £40. I cant say im suprised its died, iv had it about 5 odd years and used it well, it must have thousands of hours of use and i like my FFB quite strong.

All i can keep thinking is if only i hadnt done so many practice runs it would still be working. Life can be a cruel mistress at times and kick you when you least expect it. Im in shock to be honest, i just cant believe it, even when i use the Multi-meter it says its dead. The power supply still works but that is of little consolation.

I have to apologize to Warren Dawes, spun him around because I misjudged his cornering speed in the 1st lap, sorry :( It did make my race very interesting though, because after waiting I was in last place and spent the race fighting back through the field. Great fun :D In the final 10 laps I was closing in on Matthias Klein quickly, but I started making mistakes and drifted too far away from him. Grats Joao and Matthias, and thanks all for showing up and racing.
Thanks Yves for this event, fantastic cars on a fantastic track:thumbsup:
